Nice clean & cool rooms (crazy outside temperatures about 40C). The kids loved the pool, didn't want to leave. Nice little high Street in the village 600m away (and great gelato place). “My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. Beautiful grounds, the huge pool is clean, well maintained & surrounded by mountains. The restaurant is delicious w/ great local wine, pasta dishes and a full menu. The rooms are are good size and comfortable. But, the highlight here is the family that runs it. Wow, what wonderful, happy people. Marcello (who us always whistling a happy tune) greeted us warmly and took us in w/ no reservation. His wife Sandra is sweet and kind. His brother Giovanni was doing maintenance work and popped in for conversation. The mother Maria is incredible, cleaning and making us an espresso at any moment. We met their kids and Marcello’a father. It really made it feel like home. Stay here, this is a top choice without question.”

“Great location... hotel undergoing renovations so noisy and no elevator. Bed was comfortable, kettle provided for coffee and tea. Asked for sheets since there was only a comforter. Towels and sheets are scratchy... need better quality or softener. Shower is tiny, have to wedge in. Because it's a very old hotel there's no soundproofing and my room had the sewage and drainage pipes outside with ongoing noise. The porters and reception clerks were great.”

“It's a nice a hotel in general. Nice view from the room. The people serving during breakfast were nice and very friendly. We stayed for 5 days and the breakfast buffet didn't change at all. The private beach is not the nicest, as it has a lot of little pebbles that were annoying to deal with having kids. Just for taking a sun bath it's ok. It's a little far from town and restaurants even though is enjoyable walking the "lungomare". Try to stay away from the rooms facing the pool, as they make parties and the music stays on until 12.30am”

“really bad experience with the owner. we booked the room with 3 beds, size 37 sqm and jacuzzi. when we arrived to place and had to wait for the owner . then it turned out that there is some changes in reservation and we got small room , only 2 beds. the owner claimed that there was a problem with jacuzzi so we couldn't get that room. when i read the reviews now i can see they do that in a regular basis.... be careful, and do not agree to cancel bookong reservation when the owner asked.”

“Location good, and the rest, a disaster. If you are planing a visit in Palermo, this should be the last accomodation to take in consideration. I had a very bad experience, as I booked 2 apartments, both so dirty and nothing like in the pictures. To be noted that i had the presidetntial suite, and i will let the pictures “do the talk”. Of course i asked to cheange the ap, even with a downgrade, but it was impossible for a week. Ps: one day the ladies from the cleaning, left the garabage on the table.”
