“This is a great hotel in a great location except for a huge safety concern. I tried to go walking at 5:50 am to see the sunrise and discovered that they lock everyone in at night and there is no way to exit the building. The fire exit was blocked by what looked like laundry bags and the front doors and courtyard were locked. This would be horrendous if there was ever a fire.”

“An amazing place, great location, tasteful furnished and wonderful hosts (and great food!) I had the luck to stay during the olive harvest and taste their fresh, traditional stone ground olive oil (which would actually make them deserve a 6th star rating 😉) Seriously, just to put my review in context, I travel a lot, usually at least a few months per year.So I know what to expect and what's special. And I very very seldom leave reviews (and if usually just warnings). But this place really surprised me and deserves this praising review. it's an authentic combination of nature, culture and hospitality: Italy at its best!”
