“Fine hotel but access has many steps to enter. We had a modern room but it could have been bigger for the two of us. We paid extra for a balcony but unfortunately it led onto an internal garden area that produced flying insects and we subsequently never used the balcony. Food was lovely the staff and waiter service was very good. The hotel had a fine selection of well maintained bicycles for hire and the whole town is perfect for using them. They have a deal with a beach establishment for your own umbrella chairs and sunbeds. A several local buses pass the hotel and you can take one all the way to Pisa and up north for other towns. Purchase tickets at tobacco shops in advance at cut prices. Taxi from hotel to train station is 18 euros. Train to Florence takes minimum of 1 and half hours Check timetables. This is a fine hotel”

“Very nice and quiet hotel, walkable distance from the seaside. Rooms are well furnished, very comfortable and equipped with all the needed things. Our room had a spectacular view on the sea and also it was nice to have a remote controller from the shutters. Breakfast was delicious and the selection was rich, both salty and sweet options were available. Relax outdoor area with charming swimming pool (which was super clean). The staff is very kind and friendly. Totally positive and relaxing experience in Hotel Suisse. Hopefully we will be back next year. “A really nice place up on the mountain. Looks "sleepy" from the outside and are also a bit outdated. The room wasn't very special but was nice and quiet with air-conditioning. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Even though we had a really bad day with a long travel in the car and a bad mood when we arrived they where nice. We used the restaurant and the food was really great and the chef had great carisma. I do apologize for ordering the roast beef well done and deserved the look and the bad words from the chef. My apologies to the chef. 😁🥰”

“Our room was modern and sea view. It was spacious and had lots of wardrobe space. There is a small swimming pool on the roof,and deck chairs to sunbathe. The view from there is great, sea at the front and mountains at the back. Breakfast was so so, mainly continental. Not a great variaty, and the food is served by the waiters, which we found weird, it looks like they are controlling the amount of food you have. We spent a lot of money to stay in a sea view room at this 3 stars Hotel. It feels like we have paid a premium for the room, the rest was just OK.”

“Hotel Giardino is a lovely place. The garden is very nice and peaceful and so is the sun terrace. Our room was large, air conditioned and had a very nice large bathroom too with a great shower. The hotel provided fresh towels every day too. The breakfast was delicious too with good coffee provided and breakfast cakes. The staff at the hotel are very kind and super friendly. They printed off our flight boarding pass for us and one gentleman who works at Giardino picked us up at 6am and gave us a ride to the train station in a Fiat Panda too, so we didn't have to get a taxi. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and if I go to Lido di Camaiore again we will certainly stay at Hotel Giardino.”
