“such a pretty spot to eat!! my family comes here regularly and the food is always spot on, it is high quality & the portions are just the right size to fit in some dessert. depending on the season, they have a different menu card, the only problem I have is that they don‘t always have something vegetarian BUT the chef always cooked something separately if I asked for something without meat. always serving with some fresh bread, oil or butter, also depending on the season. the location is perfect, even for bigger groups, waiters are really friendly and overall it’s worth all the money you spend!”

There was a shopping bag in the room which was really helpful for going to the shopping center. I definitely did not like the pillows in our room, they really sucked, thin and not comfortable at all. “We absolutely loved our stay at the Guesthouse Vienna. The service was outstanding. I had written for advice for Christmas Eve dinner reservations and the hotel staff made DOZENS of calls for me for about a week trying to find something for us! In none of the other 10 hotels we stayed at during our trip did the staff go out of their way to do anything like that! The restaurant even gave me a real fork when we were leaving and I had asked for a takeaway fork! They also did a really cool job with the decor and the smallish space of the rooms. I loved the vibe, and my husband loved the amazing coffee machine in the room and the scented spray for your pillow at night. I also loved the welcome sweets- soo good. We don’t drink much, but I was shocked they offer free wine. What hotel does that? The location is fabulous too! My one regret is that we didn’t have a chance to eat at the restaurant - maybe that would be good- if it could be included. It looked delicious. I would absolutely stay here again.”

“We were well looked after by the team at the Mercury Vienna First. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The bonus of a mini bar with free water and soft drinks was most welcome. Location wise, it is perfect. Despite being close to all the action during the New Year period, it was still remarkably quiet at night with no crowds. Everything was easily accessible either on foot or by public transport. We would certainly return here when we next visit Vienna!”

“We booked this hotel because it is so close to the Vienna central station, and that was the only good thing about our stay. On arrival, they have self-check in computers that you have to navigate yourself and create your own key cards. No one talks to you or explains anything about the hotel or services offered. The housekeeping is awful, rooms are only cleaned every 3 days which is not advertised when booking and no one told us that on check in. Apparently there are drink coupons you can get for not getting a clean, but again no one informed us of that. They don’t have phones in the room so you have to go downstairs whenever you need something which is very inconvenient. The rooms had absolutely no amenities. There was no fridge, no kettle or coffee machine, no safe and nowhere to store your clothes! They don’t even give you glassware so you have no way to even drink water from the tap…you had to go down to the front desk or bar to get hot water but there was often no one there to even ask. The shower head was great but the water randomly gets really hot during your shower so you have to be careful. not good for kids. We expected better from a Radisson hotel and will never stay here again.”
