“We stayed at Hotel Derby for a week in June and it was absolutely wonderful! The owners and staff clearly want to please the guests. Even though we could not speak Italian (we did try), we were greeted with warm smiles and a staff that went out of the way for our every request. My daughter got a little cut while playing outside and they ran to get her band-aides and anti-bacterial ointment. Every day we were amazed by the range of foods that were served daily (dozens of options) and the desserts were spectacular. We travel the world and have lived in Europe for a few years and this has become one of our favorite destinations. We will be back year after year!”

“In general, an environment of very high quality, partly aging, but still with a lot of style. The rooms and all other areas were always clean. Unfortunately, the prices at the hotel bar were very high (more than 6 euros for a beer). The visit to the spa costs 20 euros per person per day and is totally worth it, there were two different Turkish baths, one normal and the other aromatic, as well as three different saunas. One of 10 meters and another smaller with massage jets and for children to play, surrounded by very comfortable beds to relax with electrically adjustable armrests”

“Don't get distracted by the 3-star rating. I've stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels that couldn't keep up with this nice small hotel. Very friendly staff, the rooms are not big but well maintained and clean. The whole hotel is. The restaurant in the hotel serves excellent food. We stayed here the night before our cruise and I can definitely recommend this. The hotel provides a shuttle service to the port as well (you need to reserve this and pay for it, but it's very convenient). Should we ever be in this area again we would stay and eat here again 100%”

“I stayed in the hotel Aurelia for 3 nights, and I had a terrific experience. We booked the room in very last minute and arrived in Milano Marittima. After checking in upon arrival, we proceeded to the room which was bigger than expected, very clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast in the morning is very good, with so many options to choose from. The staff even makes the pancakes, crepes and all sorts of eggs on your request in front of you. Lunch and dinner are also served in the hotel, and the quality of the food is superb. Everything is fresh and cooked perfectly, totally recommend. The private hotel beach is amazing too, you can rent your own umbrella + sunbeds pack and enjoy entire day sunbathing on the beach. There are also beach volley, beach tennis and table tennis facilities, and the sliders for kids, so everyone can have fun. The experience I had in the hotel was amazing. The staff is genuinely super nice, Nenad from reception was very helpful and friendly. I cannot say anything but nice words for my stay in hotel Aurelia. Totally recommend to everyone who wants to have a great time, enjoy nice food and feel like a part of the family, instead of feeling just like a number in a big hotel. “We were at the end of August 2023 and came again next year We were prepared for a lot of mosquitoes (many complained about it), but at the end of August it was not bad. The bungalows are old, some things need fixing, first of all the bathroom and the shower cabin, but everything works and everything was clean, the kitchen is well equipped. The shop in the camp is well stocked, the prices are ok, the restaurant is excellent, the food is delicious and the prices are not high. The staff is friendly, the animators are fantastic. The pools are large, the cleanliness is fine, but maybe they need a little tidying up (the age is visible). The beach is really close, 200-300m, the road from the beach is under the shade of a pine forest, the approach is easy if you don't have a stroller. Dogs are not allowed on the beach, but there are careless people who bring them. It is positive that the camp is not allowed to enter by car ( just on Saturdays is allowed). The camp is not perfect, but for the price, I got a more than positive rating and I'll see you next year.”

“Lord Byron, presumably staying in other houses at Ravenna, maybe would have raised an eyebrow .. the furniture and wall paintings are enchantingly old-fashioned, something that could be exposed in a design museum as a swirling mix of the Fifties and the Seventies. Rooms are not to small and very clean and so is the bathroom. The staff is extremely friendly and will make your dive into the past very pleasant Italian style breakfast: rather poor; if you are late, you get the famous "Brioches in the sack". But! the view from the breakfast room .. directly on the narrow Italian street, with cars blocking each other and people shouting ... would make moviemakers happy.”

“Good morning, I, my parents and my cousin stayed at the Hotel Suisse from 19 to 26 August 2023. As soon as we arrived at the hotel they showed us which rooms were and we had the first fantastic surprise: my cousin and I had a bedroom but without the bathroom, which was located outside the room. However, this was absolutely not communicated to us when we booked. At that point we asked the owner's daughter Pinuccia for explanations who could only tell us that she would talk about it with her mother. However, we never had these explanations until we had to go back and ask for them. When we explained to Mrs Pinuccia our inconveniences in having an external bathroom, saying that one evening we forgot the towels in the room and we had to remain in the bathroom without clothes shouting the names of my parents (who had the room next to ours) to have them brought to us, since the bathroom didn't even have a hanger for towels, the lady responded by saying "Okay" looking at us as if it were something normal. We also told her that my cousin, being a university student, had to study and she retorted yet again by saying "Your desk is outside the room, in the corridor and the girl can study there". Why can we rightly study in a corridor where other customers and cleaners pass by? In a totally dark desk in the evening due to lack of lighting? Apparently yes for Mrs. Pinuccia. Furthermore, the desk was located right in front of the emergency doors, so I doubt it is safety compliant. The drying rack was then located outdoors, outside the corridor and in the morning the cleaning women placed the coffee cups and saucers with food on it for breakfast. Among other things, when we decided to take the drying rack to my parents' room, we even heard the cleaning lady say "And where are we going to put our breakfast now?" as if it were normal here too. Also because, I'm sorry to say it, but I don't feel safe leaving clothes and costumes on a drying rack where anyone who passes by can steal whatever they want from me. Another of the best answers, however, was also given to us by Pinuccia's daughter when we pointed out to her that the mini-bar would not be in our room (why yes, moreover the room was slightly larger than our double bed, in fact the two of us couldn't move in the same room) telling each other "We can put it in the bathroom". Summing it all up, therefore, we can say that we had a bad experience in this hotel and not only because without being told beforehand we had an external bathroom but above all due to the total lack of understanding mixed with great indifference on the part of the staff. In such a situation, at the very least we should apologize to customers and be kind rather than giving absurd answers and treating us as if we were the exaggerated ones in the situation. I also advise the hotel staff to provide a decent toothbrush holder instead of a glass glass from the bar, after complaining twice among other things. I therefore conclude by saying that I do not recommend this hotel.”

“We spent a week in this hotel. We had a good time here, in particular the staff is very kind and courteous! The beach is only a few meters away, but very crowded, so we used to take a 10 min walk to the beach area infront of the pine forest in the north of Lido di Classe. The rooms are okay, everything was clean and tidy. Due to corona there was no breakfast buffet, but you simply choose from all the many things you like to eat, and they pack together a plate for you. The dishes in the restaurant are very good as well, everything was cooked fresh, the desserts are great! By car you can reach Ravenna, Rimini and even San Marino in a short time! So Hotel Antonella is definitly an option, if you want to stay in Lido di Classe.”
