“We visited this place after our friend recommended it because of the amazing view, and what an amazing view it was! Overlooking the beach, yachts, sunset, and mountains was beautiful and made it an excellent dining experience. We had cocktails to go with our starters. We then had salmon and steak for dinner with a delicious rosé. The staff was friendly and kind when we had questions. They spoke English well. We loved watching the sun go down as we were served each course. When it came to dessert time we relaxed with cheesecake and sorbet with espresso. There was no rush to leave and we had an amazing night at Pearl Beach. Great atmosphere.”

I think the food is not that great and pretty pricey for that amount and quality but it’s already one of the best in town. The view of the lake from the room is my favorite. “A comfortable room with all the needed amenities and scrupulously clean. The shower was excellent, bed was OK. Staff were very friendly and helpful, ensuring we had storage for our bicycles. We had booked a room with a balcony which we weren’t able to use as our room faced an extremely busy street with industrial traffic (large trucks). The room, however, was very quiet because of two sliding doors leading onto the balcony. The hotel is located about a 10 minute into the old town centre, making it easy to access restaurants and is a 2 minute to the waterfront.”

“Had a terrific last minute deal here and it was fine. Tricky to find as there are loads of road works locally. Nice room, comfy bed, huge bathroom, very nice staff, bar (not cheap!), and underground parking for ten euros a night (well worth it). Breakfast was pretty good appart from the tea and coffee, even had a frame of honeycomb! Not much in the way of food although there is an average restaurant in the same building. Take tea bags if you want proper tea, only herb teas available even in the room! Overall great service and very good value for money.”

“My expectations for the staff weren't high from the get-go, having read the comments beforehand. It was my mistake to think it wasn't a big deal. It kicks off with no one being able to handle English well for basic tasks. Combine that with incompetence and unfriendliness, and it becomes a real headache. The place has potential, but the rooms are basic and not well maintained, and breakfast is nothing to write home about. I can only give it one star for a couple of reasons: Firstly, the price swings wildly – we shelled out €248.63 per night for two in mid-October. Anything over 100€ is a rip-off, even in peak season. Secondly, I learned the hard way that relying on competent staff in other countries is crucial. A fellow hotel guest smacked our car without a word. Since we checked out before him, I asked the front desk to sort things out. They promised the Executive Assistant would handle it and get back to us. Well, it's been a while, and we're still waiting for that call.”

“We stayed there in August. The rooms are decent. The kids club was awesome even though we couldn’t use it more then 3 days as there was more children than their capacity. The big disappointment comes from the restaurant. All tables are dirty if you arrive 30-40min after start, dirty and chipped materials, dirty dressed waiters and service personnel. Food quality and choice below average. We visited the other resort in the area and it was totally different! I am disappointed because I called the customer service line to ask which one is better and she assured me that all resort are great! I am not sure if I would repeat the Mileade chain…”

“Wallet stolen from hotel room! Due to the Spartan Race Esterel on the weekend of 30.09-01.10 I was a guest there. Before the races, I put my ID card and some cash in my sports bag and left my wallet along with all other papers (including driver's license, medical card, credit cards) in my travel bag. I had this lying on the floor next to the bed. On Sunday evening, when I wanted to go to dinner, I looked for my wallet in vain. I searched 2x the complete room and even pulled off the bed, in the hope to find the wallet there. Unfortunately in vain. Since I had paid meticulous attention to the fact that the door was locked due to the defective automatic door closing system, only the staff came into question to have access to the room. On description of the facts and requests to contact the cleaning lady, was initially only reacted dismissively with the reason one would have no contact details of the cleaning staff. I should wait and contact them myself the next day. The problem with the whole thing was that she would have started work only after my departure. Only the threat to call the police brought a little concession. While I was at dinner, they tried to reach the cleaning lady. After my return, they were already waiting for me at the reception, I should not call the police, the cleaning lady would come extra early the next day, so that we would have the opportunity to talk to her. Of course, the cleaning lady denied the whole matter and could not explain to us how the wallet could disappear from a locked room. Her explanations were that I must have lost it somewhere else. However, this could not be due to the reason for staying in Esterel as described above. I explained that because of the insurance, a report to the police was inevitable. I should leave my contact data and they also wanted to search the room again. About 20 minutes after my departure, I received an e-mail: The wallet had been found with all the papers. The papers were indeed still there, only the cash (about 90-110€) was missing. When I asked where the wallet had been found and by whom, I could not be given any real information. I have also sent this fact by mail to the company headquarters, to this mail I have not even received a response after 3 weeks.”

“the cleanliness leaves much to be desired; the rooms are not ventilated and have a smell that is difficult to tolerate; the towels say that they change them only every 1 week, which does not seem ok to me, even if they give you the opportunity to wash them in the car (we are still on vacation ). A strong point would be that you are close to the sea, I have a bus station.....and that's about it.”

“Marvelous hotel right on the beautiful beach with an outstanding service! The surrounding is beautiful, with pines creating shadow on the hotel territory in front of the sea. The beach is sandy with small stones, it’s fine to swim without any special shoes. Nice for kids as well. We stayed there unplanned, but that appeared to be the best stay on the coast from Cassis to Le Lavandou. If you are looking for several days of peaceful chill at the seaside without crowd and noise of the resorts, this is just for you. We spent one day in the room with sea view and terrace , which is awesome ! And another day in room with a balcony and sea view. You can hear the waves from the sea, but you can also hear happy people in the bar right in front of the hotel 😂 so, you decide 🙃 with closed windows it’s ok to sleep while people are having fun in the bar. The sun beds are of extra charge , But the beauty is you can book them. 10 eur per 1 sunbed for the whole day - in the first row (closest to the beach on the hotel terrace). There are beach towels provided by the hotel. The restaurant is really nice. They serve standard breakfast: croissants, baguette, butter, cheese, jam, yoghurts, fruit , fresh orange and you can choose hot beverage. Black coffee and cappuccino are really nice. Throughout the day you can order a-la carte. And the menu is really nice and delicious,. There is also a menu of the day, which changes every day: 2 starters, 2 main dishes, 2 desserts. You can order them as full menu (34 eur total) or separately, as starter / main dish / desert of the day. Which is really nice, because every day you have something new.”

“The location is close to the station. Lots of buses out the front too. But the walk into town is a bit of a hike. The hotel looks very shabby from the outside. Badly in need of a makeover. The pool area is uninviting, surrounded by buildings and dying palm trees. My photo is flattering. Our room was OK. Bathrobes and slippers would have been nice. It does claim to be a 4 star property. I did spot some in the storage room on the morning that we checked out. Alas, none managed to make their way to our room during our stay. On the upside, the breakfast was above average. A slightly smaller selection than usual but everything was delicious. It didn't vary over three days but I didn't care because it was all so tasty. The best thing about this hotel is its staff. Such a warm welcome and so helpful. They were exceptional. With a special mention to Cassandra.”
