“We had 2 rooms for a pre-cruise stay, and we added on breakfast when placing the reservations. Rooms were clean and quiet. Breakfast was fine. Shuttle from airport was a bit slow to arrive but the driver found a way to fit everyone who was waiting. The exceptional part of my stay was the day shift from desk staff, Jose. There was an incident where my phone fell down the elevator shaft and hour before leaving on our cruise. I knew there wasn't enough time for it to be retrieved before we left, but Jose assured me they would get it out and hold it for me. Six days later, I picked up my phone. Luckily my case and screen protector did their jobs and it was in perfect condition. Big shout out to Jose and staff who followed through on everything they promised. Who needs a phone on vacation anyway?!?”

“I normally prefer Homewood Suites wherever I’m in search for a place to stay. They have a good reputation for always be clean and comfortable. But the only thing saving this review is the fact that this location is convenient. We checked in late that night, check-in staff were ok, a bit unprofessional. We parked across the hotel in the lot over night which saved us $50 from valet, everything was fine but beware: park at your risk. I truly felt like I paid Homewood suites (a little more expensive) price for Hampton Inn rooms. They share elevators and "split" turn right got Hampton Inn guest rooms and turn left Homewood suites guest rooms. So..?? Rooms need to be updated. Water pressure is low in the shower, as I slide the shower door, black rubber door hinge falls off and this glass door is literally swinging back and forth only being held by the top portion of the shower. Beds are uncomfortable and sheets had a few little black curled hair here and there.”

I enjoyed the well prepared Summer Camp Continental Breakfast (I made a PB and J too.) Everything about my stay was so nice, I barely noticed I was there. And there was cats I could watch outside the window as a plus!”

“Update: We were moved to another room and the front desk was accommodating I love the decor of the hotel. The first desk staff was accommodating our first night. We had to change rooms a couple of times due to the tub being dirty and stains on the furniture and then the shower didn’t work well. There is construction and we weren’t made aware of how it would impact our stay. It sounds like they are going to come through the ceiling. We are staying here while renovations are being done on our home so that we had a quiet place to work and rest. Called the front desk and was told I could come work at the bar. Changing rooms to a lower floor wasn’t given as an option. Likely would not stay here again but the aesthetics are nice.”

I got the suite with kitchen and it came with plates, silverware, pans, a coffee machine and they allow you to borrow blenders and other cooking machines. “The property was clean and well maintained. The staff was super friendly. The only negative was that they were having issues with the hot water. Each time we needed hot water we had to call the front desk. The staff had to "reset the boilers" and we'd wait about 15 minutes. A few times we had to take cold showers. The property is close to restaurants and shopping.”

“This hotel doesn't allow check-in with the app. The woman front desk person (night shift) was rude. My family and I arrived with a bunch of bags. The app didn't work, and she was just steps away and made us walk all around to the main entrance. Even though I signed her, the app was not working. She mentioned the app was not working, then not all the hiltons are the same, then actually this specific hotel didn't allow for app check in. Why is not a message in the app? I was already done check-in in the app, and I had to do it all over again, credit card, ID, etc. What is the point of the app, then? Beds and pillows are not comfortable at all. My husband commented that the male front desk was better and more helpful than the lady. Breakfast was extremely bad, although the person attending was extremely helpful, courteous, and sweet. Unfortunately, it's not the best hotel we have stayed in.”

“Stayed here for 4 days. There was no one to clean the room. We had to go to the desk to get clean towels pillow cases toilet paper etc. we noticed there was 1 lady servicing all the rooms and by the time she knocked on our door it was day 3, it was 4 oclock in the evening and we were taking a nap. Meanwhile the garbage was piling up and we had to take our own trash out and go to the desk to get more trash bags. We got stuck in the elevator. There was a few problems with people getting stuck in the elevator so for the most part i opted to take the stairs. We paid $40 (per room) for transportation to a concert and were given a complimentary gift bag containing a pair of eyeglasses, a juice pouch, a ring pop, a beaded bracelet and a pack of trident gum! The problem was that there was only 1 gift bag per room no matter how many people were in the room. CHEAPSKATES! The $40 for transportation made sense but they should have kept the gift bags. It just made matters worse. In the other hand, the breakfast was was plentiful the room was roomy and the pool was clean, some of the staff were pleasant. Shopping and restaurants were nearby. Great location but room service could have been better.”

“I stayed one night got a smoking room. Room was clean and i liked the bed. One of the downsides was there was dirt and mud everywhere outside from constuction workers staying there. They were also very loud and screaming all night. They even has a party in the parking lot and had fireworks. For this reason i can't give this location 5 stars”

“Great location near the Galleria. I had stayed here about a year ago and I was pleased with the Hotel. This time it was different story. Checkin on went fine. When I got to the room, the room has a musty cigarette urine smell. I wondered if someone had smoked in the room and had peed on the carpet. The side of the arm chair was badly stained. The mattress was fine. But there was only a thin bedspread and no blanket. The queen bed only had two pillows.. The bedside lamp didn't work, No coffeemaker, the bathroom had a fluorescent light that was about to burn out..There was a hole in in a closet door. The room only had two towels. I went downstairs and asked for more towels and they told me they were out of towels and to come back later. I know this is a budget Hotel. But that is no excuse for doing a better job maintaining the rooms.”
