From time to time the elevators don't work properly (generally just one of the three). Besides that Avalon offers spectacular views, great access to subways, parks and local nightlife. Wouldn't rather want to be any place else. Thanks guys!”

Stephanie always has a smile on her face and is willing to go out of her way to help you with whatever you need, plus she remembers everyone’s name (somehow). She’s fantastic at her job. Becca made my move into the building very easy and has helped me with a ton of questions that I’ve had since I became a resident. She’s also always available if you need her and responds to calls/emails very quickly. If she says she’s going to do something, it gets done, which I really appreciate.”

“I always come back to this neighborhood because of how safe it is and have lived in several buildings; the Witmer is for sure in my top two and somewhere I’d live again if I move back to the area. The building is clean and the staff is just exceptional, never had any issues with noise and by far some of the best neighbors I’ve had. Trash shoots are well managed, the cleaning staff is AMAZING. Also, appreciate that they pay close attention to the overall scent and that the building’s signature scent is throughout even in the gym. The monthly events calendar and community events is a great perk for those that are new to the DC area. The only con was the AI algorithm that buildings in the area now use that make people jump around because of how it inflates things. Annette is a gem though and I will definitely miss her!”

“I’ve lived here for the past 6 years. It was truly a place to call home. The floor plan for the 800 sf 1 bedroom was perfect. Pretty quiet neighborhood. The location was perfect since it’s near to grocery stores, pharmacies, the mall, doctors, gyms, pretty much all of your needs are met within 10 minutes. The staff at the leasing office are very accommodating (especially Matt and Javon) and the maintenance guys are always on point. I only moved since I bought a house or else I’d still be there. Nice place to live.”

We have had a few issues with tings as we were getting settled in and our service requests have been taken care of within 24 hours every time. Enrique in particular has been extremely helpful and friendly. Never fails with a quick solution to the problem. Seriously, the AC was down and within 12 hours he was here and got it running cold again. Can't beat that kind of service.”
