However, after careful consideration, I have decided that the current pricing for the one-bedroom unit is a bit beyond my budget at this time. Skyhouse has everything I need with great amenities and it feels convenient to live here. The staff are also very friendly and never fail to make me welcome.”

“Bullhouse is a great complex overall. The pros and cons are typical for downtown living. What I mean is you are going to love the location and things to do/eat nearby but there may be encounters with the homeless. Furthermore, the demographic is mostly young professionals/singles; with this comes a territory you will see a lot of dogs and some residents may not respect the rules that are considerate of other residents. The cons are very minor and the property is very secure with keycard entry at all entrances and the property management team are always aware and enforce community rules. This apartment community is one of the most affordable and spacious apartments in the downtown Durham area. As for the property staff they are always very helpful and friendly including the maintenance team. They put a lot of effort in building a good community by always sending community updates and hosting events which is nice. The appliances breakdown often and the maintenance team on average takes 3-5 days to complete work orders; however, they are always super fast with emergency work orders. Outside of the appliances not being the best quality, Bullhouse would receive a 5 star rating. I love the amenities they have and we have had a great experience here. Thank you Bullhouse :)”

“Please Encourage anyone who's looking for a place to stay to lease. Do not invest your money in these. The property is managed poorly, They change things up in a blink of an Eye. The whole complex is affected with roaches. I've never seen them come out with any pest control. The new maintenance team rides around entering people's homes and asking them. Are they gonna be home tomorrow? After seeing what they have in their home. Have videos. I would not wish this on my worst enemy. I moved here not having anywhere to stay. I really deep down inside wish I never have moves here. I pray to god that he removes any and everything that has been placed on me since i've been here. The neighborhood is not a nice place to have any child. They play Loud music, they drive. Their cars very fast up-and-down. Like there's no speed bumps out here. The license office always making change to the parking policy. But you could not get them to fix anything. That needs to be fixed unless you catch them. Riding around on the golf cart and stop them. I encourage anyone who's looking for a place please please do not go here. God bless.”

“I have lived here for a year now, I haven’t had any problems. The amenities are really nice and having 24/7 access for the gym is convenient. The maintenance team is really good, James always has a Fantastic attitude and is like a grandpa to most of us. The front office staff are pretty awesome as-well. Laney is always on top of her job and tries to look out for everyone here, Kayla, Sophie; Angela are always happy to help and Skyler will always greet you with a nice smile. Overall I’d give Aspire a 10/10”

“My boyfriend and I toured a 1 bedroom/1 bath and we had a really wonderful experience. Shawna is absolutely hysterical, we ended up sitting in the leasing office for an hour just chatting. She is not only a great personality, but is also super knowledgeable, caring, and good at her job. While we didn't end up leasing here, I would recommend it to others. The apartment was beautiful and spacious, the gym was awesome, and it felt very cozy/homey. Thank you, Shawna, for your authenticity and helping us navigate a typically stressful life event (moving).”

“would love to leave a bad review to keep rents where they are....since I've seen too many places increase drastically BUT after a full month of living here, the experience has been great!. The apartments are good for the price , good amount of space, well kept, and location is great. The main thing that I would say is the absolute highlight of Audubon Parc Apts is the service. My comment about service is - wow. We saw the unit over video tour because we were moving from out of the area. Elsa did 3 separate video tours and called us back to make sure we were aware of everything before moving forward (where is it facing, replacement of appliances and little things that would be fixed)..... The only thing I would say for future tenants is- floors seem to be older build (wood) & it sounds like the sound goes through easily. We've been trying to be aware of the sound when stepping since we like to be good neighbors, but having lived below other people, I know the sound seeps through easily. That being said, you can't get everything in a rental, but this is pretty close to it.”

“WORST PLACE TO LIVE!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! Our experience living here has been pretty disappointing. I would rate this place zero stars if I could. The valet trash service here is AWFUL! It's a TOTAL SCAM. They barely ever operate and they only take two bags a night. They have so many ridiculous rules around valet trash. We still end up taking out our own trash several times each week because the service is inadequate. Why are we paying for a trash service when we still have to take out our own trash?!?! The pool is way too small for the number of residents and it's always crowded. There's always bugs in our apartment and pest control is lousy. The management staff here have poor attitudes and terrible customer service. The package area is a MESS!!! At our old residence packages were placed in secured locked containers FOR FREE. Here your packages are left out in the open of the package room for anyone to steal unless you want to pay an extra monthly charge. They charge you for everything here (money hungry crooks). They don't even provide cups for the so called complimentary tea and coffee in the clubhouse. Who provides tea and coffee and doesn't provide cups?!?!? They want you to bring you own mugs. This place is full of money hungry crooks. The rent is way too high for what you get here. I can't wait for our lease to expire. We will NEVER live here again, and I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.”
