“Upon arrival, the apartment 707, owner Azhar and Ahmad, Luxury Fountain-viev 2BR near Marina walk & metro, was a mess, there was plaster and advice for bricklayers in the living room. Another worker worked in the bathroom. I immediately wrote to Ahmed that I did not agree with the state of the apartment. Smelly dishwasher, dirty fridge and freezer with leftovers, crumbs everywhere, sheets were not available, a package of feminine hygiene products by the bed, no toilet paper, wifi not working, sink cabinet clogged, used wet towel on the floor, dirty laundry in the washing machine. We were repeatedly told that everything would be cleaned in 10 minutes, but the hours passed and still nothing. The workers were then sent away with the fact that they had picked up a few crumbs from the ground with their hands and said that it was ok. I wrote further to Ahmad and Azhar that we don't have sheets and toilet paper, and he wrote back that he was sending a cleaning lady along with the sheets. Again he said 10 minutes, but only the two workers arrived in an hour and only brought sheets. They told us that they don't have time for further peace. We arrived at 15:00 and got out at 20:00 because of the wait. we only had two days in Dubai and no one will give us back the time lost waiting for peace. By the end of our stay, we were without toilet paper, without wifi and in a mess. Unfortunately, I have to ask for the money back because I am really sorry for the state we lived in.”

“We relocated to this community three months ago, fully aware of DAMAC's reputation for subpar construction quality. Despite being forewarned by numerous residents, the actual experience has been beyond disappointing. From day one, we've been in constant contact with DAMAC's so-called "emergency line," which has proven to be nothing more than a hollow promise. Not once did their maintenance team arrive when summoned for urgent issues. To make matters worse, we'd receive follow-up communications—emails, texts, and calls—claiming the job was done and soliciting our feedback. This is not just poor service; it's a complete dereliction of duty. The one time they did grace us with their presence was a staggering 72 hours after our air conditioning system failed, a particularly urgent issue given that we have an infant at home. To say their property management is "useless" would be charitable. They have a facade of staff and procedures, but it's all for show—no one is actually accomplishing anything. We deeply regret our decision to move here and plan to leave as soon as feasibly possible. The incessant maintenance issues, all stemming from shoddy construction, are not worth the financial and emotional toll they've taken on us. It's a pity, as the area itself is picturesque and full of untapped potential. Lastly, a note on the bizarre road design: the lack of u-turns forces us to drive aimlessly for 10-15 minutes just to reach destinations across the street. It's an inexplicable inconvenience that only adds to the litany of grievances. DAMAC, you have a lot to answer for. Your performance is not just substandard; it's downright disgraceful.”
