“I live at this location and I must say it's one of the best places I found to live since relocating in 2018. However this review is for the maintenance staff, specifically for Robert. This man knows his stuff I don't believe there's anything he can't do, I found that out when we first moved in . My oven started cutting off the Thursday before Thanksgiving and then again Wednesday the day before. He came and fixed it the day before Thanksgiving he saved me from so much grief and stress. Now the maintenance staff I have dealt with outside of him are good but he is great 👍🏾 He even called to check in to see if the stove was OK. Thank you so much Robert. “I cant express enough how thankful I am to be living here. I moved in a few months ago and I love it. The neighborhood is so safe and quiet. Anne at the front desk is so sweet and helpful. Jesse from maintenance is so quick to fix everything. Our sink started leaking and he went out and got the part the same day to fix it. All of the staff here is incredible, holiday parties, game nights and giveaways. Really the only possible complaint I have would be the rent is fairly high, but this complex is so worth it. We were paying astronomical fees at our last place and the community fees here are $25, utilities around $50-70. Also the stacked washer and dryer isn't ideal, but it does a good job. All in all I cant recommend living here enough!”

“Nice apartments, priced kinda high as a luxury space, but our facilities are older, a little over-used, and not maintained as frequently nor as well for the amount of use they get (namely, the jacuzzi, lawn furniture, all 4 bbq grills). The custodial staff is great, and they keep the interior common areas quite clean, but the exterior corrugated steel and glass surfaces of the bldg were not cleaned last spring nor last summer, so all year our building front and exterior windows facing Brighton and towards Arkins have had a dirty, grimey appearance. All of our exterior stairwells look like they have never been air-blown nor power-washed, and our garage stairwells have never been power-washed/swept/vacuumed. Our tenants are very friendly & pleasant, and the property is just lovely, and that’s to say nothing of our phenomenal fitness areas. Our staff are the best, helpful, and friendly. Super-convenient location, so accessible to ballpark, downtown, Five Points, and Union Station.”

“We have lived here for almost 2 years and plan to sign again if the rent isn't raised by too much. Firstly, I want to say that any reviews with negative feedback about the office staff, specifically Chad, are downright incorrect. Everyone at the office is amazing, and Chad is a manager who really listens and cares about the residents living here. He helped my entire building get through a terrible situation caused by an unstable resident, and he did so with grace and kindness. Everyone else who works here is wonderful, including the front office staff and all of the maintenance staff that I've had the pleasure of meeting. They are all professional and extremely nice! Bad stuff first (then the good): the crime here is not the worst, but it's definitely a problem. Most apartment complexes deal with similar crime situations, so it's not like anywhere is much better. Cars do get broken into, balconies get vandalized, and stairways get pooped in by homeless people (I wish I was making that up, but unfortunately, that happened just after we moved in). We do get a lot of homeless people around the park next door or at the lake behind the apartment, and because they can access the apartments property, they do cause issues. Some are extremely respectful and kind, and I have no problem with those who fit that category. Others are dangerous, hopped up on drugs, and steal or trash our community. It is what it is, and everywhere around Denver has been dealing with this. I don't blame the management for this. What are they supposed to do? (We do have cop cars drive through regularly, so that's nice, at least, although I've never seen them get out and check out the lake facing side of the complex) Now the good: the apartments are wonderful. We paid more for the updated appliances, and all of them work great. Our A/C and heat have gone out a couple of times, but maintenance is always extremely quick to fix this for us! Kudos to them! The lake is wonderful to have, as is the park (when it's light out and safe, and not being trashed by vagrants). We walk our pups around the lake multiple times a day, and we've never had any issues. There is so much life here, and it's fun to watch! We have a resident fox, turtles, every kind of bird, lots of garter snakes (they are generally small and cute, buy occasionally my girlfriend sees a big one and it freaks her out), river otters, and a myriad of other animals (I cladding one shy coyote). Our building is what really sets this place apart, and for that we are very lucky! We have a small community in our building, and all of the neighbors are great and watch out for each other and each other's things. When thinking about moving, our neighbors are a large reason why we stay. It's great to have a community of great neighbors, and I have a feeling our building is not the only one like this! Pool area has always been great! Grills work and children can play freely, and while that seems to bother some residents, I personally don't have kids, but I think children being able to be children is a benefit of a great community and not a problem at all. Kids and parents here all seem super respectful! Again, the staff is too notch! I've never had such a great experience living in an apartment, and I think the staff here work hard to make that happen for everyone. Chad and Feran are awesome, and I've never been treated disrespectfully. Not once! This is a great place to live, as long as you realize it's still very much in the city, and understand that crime happens anywhere in the city. Put a camera on your front door so amazon packages don't get stolen, and maybe a camera on your balcony so your car doesn't get broken into. Good deterants that cost less than 30$ and make you feel safe.”

“2nd Update: A collection agency called me saying I owed money from my final move out two years ago which I already paid. I'm still working to get this resolved but even after leaving they are still being a pain. It seems a bit suspicious that the manager responded to my previous update around the same time that the collection agency said they received my file. I've tried many times to get in contact with the building and management company but they refuse to answer phone calls or call you back. There are also many people in the Facebook group saying they are getting calls from collectors on bills already paid as well. Hands down the worst experience I've ever had as a renter. Update: Greystar bought the property and everything went to hell. We had an elevator down for 6 weeks and the staff consistently turned over causing them to not know how to help with anything. The homeless situation has gotten worse as well. Recommend avoiding now. Original review of Alexan: My girlfriend and I moved in here a few weeks ago and everything has been amazing so far. We toured a handful of different properties around the Denver area and nothing compares to Alexan; great location, great finishes, & great amenities. The leasing office is top notch too. We have worked primarily with Hannah and Doug, both of whom have been extremely accommodating and ensured that we are very comfortable in our new home. I highly recommend living here.”
