“Living at Camden Panther Creek has been a wonderful experience! Actually, this is my 2nd Camden property I have lived & I can’t say enough good things about the community. The most important is my attached garage as well as washer and dryer. These 2 things have made apartment living more like a home!!! The staff here are helpful and responsive. I also love how dog friendly it is here with a nice dog park. I would definitely recommend Camden Panther Creek!!!”

“Major issues with fire alarms going off at the most inconvenient times. Plano fire department will come, find nothing wrong, and the alarm continues to go off for hours. Rent prices- the market rates will drop for your unit, ($1700 vs $2300) but they refuse to renew you at market unless you physically move. They are ok with you moving. Loud noise- every Thursday- Sunday night you get people in mustangs, chargers, and sport bikes that love to Rev their engines and do burnouts at the stop signs. There's a plano police station behind earls, but they don't care. Then you have the legacy west cleaning crew. 8am, every morning leaf blower guy is out at the shops to make sure those 3 leaves aren't in sight. Leaving your patio doors open in the morning or evenings just aren't an option due to these issues. Plano is ripe with apartments, you'll find a better one than these pretty easily. A lot of folks are Air BnB their apartment. For the weekends you usually end up parking 2 levels above your floor due to the increase in vehicles.”

“Anyone else move out and get trumped up fees so they do not get deposit back? If so DM me. I want to take to small claims court. I was paying for apartment cleaning. Then they added on carpet cleaning said required at move out. Then charge to fill holes in wall I had filled. I asked for paint to do myself. They said no we will do that and not charge. They do not give you paint so they can see where you had holes so they can charge you. If you get paint it will be clean and they can’t see where you had anything hanging. It’s a scam to keep the deposit. Water leaks in the apartment that I’ve had to clean up that caused damages to my rug because the fifth floor and fourth floor all drain down into my shower and out onto my floor my when the shower was off, the water just started coming up out of stall. Pictures of how they paint the walls before I even moved in where it’s not matched so now they want to charge me to make it look decent for the next person and it didn’t look decent for me to begin with. Other residents have complained that they didn’t get their deposits back either. They use false information and just charge and keep your deposit because it’s hard to fight against an apartment complex.”

“My review after nearly 3 years of living in Riachi Apartments. I appreciate the maintenance activities (excluding thrash), apartment floor plans are good and leasing office too is descent! However, want to get to the negatives which are also important, 1. Heavy fines without notice. They just added 180$ fines in two months and without notice which have never seen till date in any of my previous stays anywhere 2. Multiple robbery at homes in Riachi. The only thing management did or suggested renter is to have security technology 3. Trash pickup services even though charged well every month but service is not accurate and with lot of rules. On occasions trash is not picked on Thu, which is the last day of pickup until Sunday. The trash bag is kept in the trash box however if not picked up by pickup person on that day and if we leave it for next day pickup, an hefty penalty is added to the rent because leaving the trash box beyond deadline time is not accepted even if trash was not picked. Also, we only get to know of the fine after reviewing rent bill in next month! 4. Amenities like Gym, poolside grill station, pool gets closed for maintenance for a very long time like main pool and grill was closed for more than a month during summer last year, gym was closed for 2-3 weeks for a some electrical issue a month back!”

Leasing office is available to answer questions and resolve any problems. Grounds are kept clean. Gated community. Easy access to stores and entertainment. Management here really works, they don’t disappear after you have signed the lease and moved in. I believe that makes a huge difference for tenants.”

“BEWARE - Current and future tenants of Windsor Preston: Be prepared to either (1) Not get your security deposit back or (2) get charged an exorbitant amount of money for "phantom damages" upon departure. This act is presumably Windsor's attempt to collect, on the back end, for the fact that some were not required to make a deposit before moving in. Photos below (shower, oven, AC) were sent from Windsor Preston seeking $750.00 for "deep cleaning" of our old unit. Please keep in mind Windsor is also seeking an additional $650.00 for total replacement of the carpet, which had gone through at least three different occupants by the time we departed. They even had the wherewithal to suggest that dust dust that accumulated on the AC vent (which had been looked at in September by a Windsor staff member for filter replacement) costs $150.00 to clean. Total move out fee - $1,650 with a deadline to pay within 5 days before being sent to collection. We've posted photos (attached) which we took before taking our final steps out of the apartment. Please let us know if this is as incredulous as we believe it to be. We're upset at the fact that our request to conduct a walkthrough upon departure was redirected by Casey (property manager), who advised that they only have one staff member (Rodney) able to conduct walk throughs, and rather that we should instead take photos (which we did) as those will be used as the base for any requested fee after moving out. We simply were following Windsor's direction for request of a walkthrough, and now we're wishing we wouldn't have let Casey diverge us from that route. Also upset that Rodney, the maintenance Manager at Windsor, told me the year prior that these type of sought after charges are actually baked into EVERYONES monthly rent fee to account for the fact that they assume they will need to conduct this type of cleaning on every unit upon tenant departure. Rodney advised they more of less look for broken pieces of drywall, substantive damages, etc. Needless to say, we are in disbelief. Windsor refuses to give us a call to discus, and instead remains communicating via email with multiple day delay. Unprofessional. Unfortunately, however, this is not totally unexpected given the discussions we've have with friends that have since left Windsor. It is, though, rather sad and disappointing to be taken advantage of for reasons unknown. Also, this post does not take into account the myriad of other reasons to avoid Windsor Preston. STAY AWAY.”
