“Responsive, professional and reasonably priced. I had my heat go out on a Sunday evening. I called two places, ServiceMax and one other. The other told it would be a minimum of $300 for them to come some time the next day on top of any parts and supplies and time. ServiceMax told me it was less than 1/2 that price and the could come in the morning beetween 8-12. They said the tech would call me 20-30 min before he's available. He called me at 7:30am and was here by 7:50. He was here for 2 hours and told me everything he was working on and doing and what the issue(s) were. I felt confident that we wasn't trying to rip me off, he was polite, professional and responsive. Amazing.”

“Overpriced dirty disappointment!!! Busy hot day but crowded like capacity was exceeded which must have been the main reason for how disgustingly dirty it was. AND THESE WERE JUST SOME QUICK PICS because there was sooooo much more but I was too disgusted and wanted to leave. We asked several times if someone could attend to the mess and even though the staff said "yeah sure" they NEVER cleaned one thing up. $48 fee for non reside is for 1.5 hours WE WILL NOT BE BACK”

Hickory Hill Campground

973 County Rd 2250 E, Secor, IL 61771, United States

“After a long day of travel, I was looking forward to being able to set up and relax. The site we were given was plenty long enough but barely wide enough to open the slides on both sides. The neighbor had a picnic table that was so close that I had to sit on it to connect the stinky slinky, and the entire area was a mud pit. I, like others, didn't see any disclaimers about the sports club next door. As a Veteran with a bit of PTSD the constant gun fire was anything but relaxing. I get it, you don't list something like that on the top of your amenities or nearby attractions. As others have said, this is probably a great place for the majority of the sites which are full with seasonal campers. We are just passing through and will avoid staying here on future trips.”

3358 Dempster St, Skokie, IL 60076, United States

“I used to love this place but not any longer. I was an Evanston native when I first start using the location they have on Howard St, but now I like in Skokie so I prefer to use the one located on Dempster St. I’ve supported this establishment for many years and never had a bad thing to say about them until now. Recently, I came in to get my dress alternated and pressed for an event I had the following day. The tailor there has done so many of my clothes so I wasn’t worried one bit about the alterations. Once I put the gown on, he suggested that all I needed was a press because he didn’t want to ruin it and I respected that so I went ahead and put it in for a press only. I was getting ready the next day (night of the event) and when I went to zip up my gown, part of the zipper came off the track. Mind you, when I dropped it off the day before, there were 0 issues with the gown. The zipper itself was still functional and everything. I couldn’t even go to the event because they were closed and I couldn’t figure out how to fix the issue myself. The following day I went with my mother so she could drop some items off and so I could speak with someone about getting my zipper fixed. The associate working there I recognized as an employee who worked over at the Howard location as well and I remembered immediately during our conversation just how rude she was. I explained the story to her and she went on to say that I only asked for the gown to be pressed and that they don’t touch zippers when they only press items. I responded to her saying that may be true but until I came and got it pressed, my zipper was still functional. She then proceeded to call another associate over and summed up my story to her as well and even commented that the zipper on my dress was a “cheap zipper” and insinuated that it could’ve broken for some other reason. I imported that gown from the UK. It wasn’t super expensive, but it certainly wasn’t cheap by any means so I didn’t appreciate that nasty comment whatsoever. I chose not to respond at all to that accusation and stood there while she proceeded to demean me in front of the other customers . I didn’t ask for a refund only that the zipper be repaired because it’s a gown I can certainly wear some other time in the future. She was very unhelpful and instructed me to come back the next day at 6:30 in the morning to speak with the owner to rectify this issue. I’m not an argumentative person, so I left it at that. I didn’t go the next day to speak to anyone because I decided I should be spending my money where I’m appreciated and not attacked. I’ve been supporting this business well over a decade and you’d think that’d count for something, but of course it didn’t. I don’t plan on patronizing this establishment any longer and I don’t suggest new comers should either. I think a lot of the staff there, especially the woman who “assisted” me, should be retrained on their customer service skills. I’m not mentioning her name out of respect for myself because I’m not the type of person to try to mess of someone’s livelihood, but she knows who she is.”
