“The view was worth the hour drive! Drove all the way to the top, so we didn’t hike at all. Be sure to bring a jacket to keep you warm because it does get windy up there”

“Guardian Games, It's a fascinating Establishment with a large variety Board games, puzzles, RGP Games, D&D, mini figures, Disc-golf, pluses, etc. If you're into fantasy games where you can be a Demon, Angel, Elf, Goblin, troll, Hero or any type of magical being you can think of This is where you can find a game that sits your preference. The atmosphere of the store was particularly friendlee from what I observed, there were tons of different types of people. There were people with elf ears and with flowers in their hair even some with colorful hair, there was a variety of people. The employees there were really friendly and knowledgeable they helping customers left and right from what they were looking for, to what questions they were asking. And from what I can see they were really knowledgeable about all the different types of games they had on the shelves they explained how many players/league can't play the game to how many points need to win. Overall I would recommend people who are interested in this type of Hobby to come and have a look.”

“Wow! What a great tour and such a neat place to see. I know it gets great reviews on google, but the pictures and reviews do not do it justice! It far exceeded my expectation. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. I would definitely recommend this tour! A very reasonable price that makes it affordable for all! Thanks for providing such a great activity for visitors to learn about the history of Pendleton!”

2nd Avenue Records

Closed until 12:00 PM

400 SW 2nd Ave, Portland, OR 97204, United States

“I'm impressed by their metal selection and have been able to find records that I couldn't find elsewhere in town at this store. Also, for the most part, their prices are either average or lower compared to other places. Organization of the store is a little bit scattered, but it's still easy enough to find everything. The owner seems pretty friendly and helpful. Overall good environment and record shop, pretty underrated place to go. They also have cool band stickers for cheap. I would definitely come back if I were in the area.”

Stumptown Escape Games
4.8
( 8 reviews )
Open until 11:00 PM

12550 SW Main St #120, Portland, OR 97223, United States

“I had a wonderful time in the Speakeasy room! We were a group of two, with one of us being new to escape rooms. It was a great challenge with unique puzzles, simple decor to keep you focused on the puzzles, and multiple linear puzzle tracks so it was easy to know what lead to what typically. Our moderator Missy was very sweet and gave quick hints to keep us rolling. Good room for those looking a room focused on the puzzles and less story. If primarily newbies, I'd recommend a larger group but if all players are experienced you could absolutely be on the smaller size. Can't wait to come back again! (Also there is a company small dog who is super cute and gentle!”

Blick Art Materials
4.6
( 8 reviews )

2710 SW Cedar Hills Blvd, Beaverton, OR 97005, United States

“I stopped by shortly before Christmas and was looking for some supplies for making Japanese fish prints. One of the employees spent about ten minutes helping me find what I wanted and was able to explain details about the purchases as I am not an artist. Products are high quality and they have most of what an artist needs. They are helpful and knowledgeable and willing to take time to help customers.”

Craterian Theater At The Collier Center For The Performing Arts
4.7
( 8 reviews )

23 S Central Ave, Medford, OR 97501, United States

“Always nice to be in a smaller-ish venue where every seat is pretty good. We saw The Vienna Boys Choir, which was very nice. We've also seen Mandy Patinkin (singing) and Brian Reagan (comedy) here. So they attract a good variety of talent. Some of the policies about food and drink can be better communicated. The staff is usually very nice and helpful. Only one mens restroom, which is upstairs, while there's 2 or 3 women's restrooms. Just be prepared for that. We'll continue to be patrons here!”

Alder House Glass
4.9
( 16 reviews )

611 S Immonen Rd, Lincoln City, OR 97367, United States

“You'll see the sign for Alder House off hwy 101, either just before or after Salishan Lodge, depending on your direction. It will be about 1 mile up a curvy road. Take the time to stop, well worth it. There's a pottery shop before Alder, so you can make it a two Fer! Treasure was the artist the THREE times we stopped on our current visit to the area (we're from Auburn WA). On our 1st stop we watched Treasure create a beautiful seashell. I found a gorgeous vase that, if I hadn't bought it, I would have regretted it. The best part was watching Treasure make a small pumpkin for me (2nd visit). Took all of 8 minutes! Or as he said, "8 minutes and 24 yrs". 3rd visit was to pick up my pumpkin. I've bought many of these pumpkins at glass shows, but this is the 1st that I chose the colors and WATCHED it being made. Extra special!!! We don't get to this area often, every couple years, but top on the list to visit will be Alder House!”

Bar Actions
4.8
( 8 reviews )

3522 N Vancouver Ave, Portland, OR 97227, United States

“No review for food cause it isn’t a restaurant - its a great place to do fun crafts. This was my second visit - and my daughter’s first. We each drank some Seltzer since it was the middle of the afternoon. My daughter did the macrame plant hanger and I did the macrame wall art. Great instruction and Lee the wonderful staff person, helped and guided as needed. We each had a great time and would recommend it for a date night or an outing with friends.”

300 NE Norton Ln, McMinnville, OR 97128, United States

“We rented out a theater for my twins birthday party and they took great care of our giant group. We had over 50 people show up and they were very polite and friendly to everyone. There was a table set up for gifts and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely do this again for another event.”

Newport Cinemas
4.3
( 7 reviews )

5836 Oregon Coast Hwy, Newport, OR 97365, United States

“There are not really many theatre options on the coast. This one is dated and smells and looks unclean in the theatre. Better than nothing, but I recommend waiting until you can stream it at home or driving hours to somewhere else. My wife had old gum stuck on the cushion part of her seat. We moved to a new section. It is sad, but I can't recommend this location.”

Comics Adventure
4.8
( 16 reviews )
Closed until 11:00 AM

15705 SE McLoughlin Blvd, Milwaukie, OR 97267, United States

“One of the best shops in the greater Portland metro area, and that is really saying something if you know anything about the area and comic book stores. This is the place you can feel comfortable taking a friend, your kiddos, or your partner and not worry about them having fun while you dig through the plethora of back issues, new releases or their extensive graphic novel section. If you're a parent this store easily has the best and safest kids section around, filled with books for all ages and a fun area for them to read in while you shop. If you're a collector this store always has a well curated and organized section of grails and slabs you will always find something you want.”

Rogue City Comics
4.9
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

32 N Central Ave, Medford, OR 97501, United States

“Small update, as I feel it a disservice to not explain my five stars, and compliment the fine service and environment this particular comic store provided. To keep it simple and sweet: As a relatively uneducated person regarding comics, I decided to call this shop with a specific and particular set of questions. I was treated with great respect and expediency even just over the phone, with them being able to answer all of my questions confidently and leave me as a customer feeling good. They were even kind enough to set the item aside, as we were unable to pick it up until the day after I called. That was all before I ever stepped foot in the store. Upon entering the deceivingly well sized, stocked, and very focused professional store setting, we were treated with respect once more, and expert service. The entire transaction was but a few minutes, but we decided to stay and browse, and in conclusion that's probably the biggest compliment I can pay. Even after we were done, I still wanted to look around. So basically, if you're looking for a real comic store, powered by actual people, with an impressive inventory and clean store arrangement, definitely give this business a look. An aside: Despite most things these days costing both arms and both legs, their prices are actually very reasonable, and one of the few places I didn't feel like I was getting ripped off in someway. If you're in the scene or market for comics and other common materials [graphic novels, some tabletop gaming stuff, etc.], I think you'll find something to suit your tastes and budget. GMB”
