Pete's Candy Store
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 05:00 AM

709 Lorimer St, Brooklyn, NY 11211, United States

“Was here twice, once for comedy and recently for live music. The bar and venue is intimate and welcoming. There's a nice variety of affordable drinks and the bartender was attentive even when busy. I had a Kirin Ichiban on draft and a Hot Toddy. Both hit the spot 😋 The live music was nice too! The comedy wasn't all great but there were two comedians that made it worthwhile. Great place for a date or meeting friends. Will definitely be back!”

1647 Weirfield St, Ridgewood, NY 11385, United States

“Cool venue. Good atmosphere. Intimate 250-person stage. Back patio for bumming cigarettes after the show. The venue also turned into a dance party after the ticketed performance which looked pretty good in it's own right.”

4.7
( 16 reviews )

25 Bogart St, Brooklyn, NY 11206, United States

“A hidden gem in east Williamsburg, a Persian fusion restaurant, nice cocktail options, and tasty dishes. We have bread and salad as a starter, the bread is creamy and a little sweet, paired with the sour/acidic salad. Then, crunch a potato with dark sauce. Had octopus and need kabob. Both of them are good, these have some layers of flavor, completely bringing the street food stereotype to a higher level. The ice sandwich is a rose-based with pistachio, impressive flavor but still creamy. Will visit this place again!”

Coney Island Brewery
4.6
( 8 reviews )

1904 Surf Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11224, United States

“Nice little brewery here with a good selection of beers and a good menu. I got the Coney Island Dogs. The bun was different tha your regular hot dog bun but it was good more like a loaf of bread but it seems pretty fresh. I would recommend. The smash burgers looked good to but this was my first time having a Coney Island dog. The Merman IPA was a really good beer highly recommended it’s also on their special”

Zerospace

“Very cool space. Went for an Arc'teryx event which was very neat. I thought the space was used very well and maintained cleanly. Would definitely love to come back for other events!”

Action Burger

( 16 reviews ) $$

292 Graham Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211, United States

“It's been a minute (like 5 years) I last visited and it's nice to see Action Burger alive and well. It's almost like hanging out in your basement, just with better food, drinks and video games. I'm definitely going to try to convince my better half to come along next.”

Smith Street Tattoo Parlour
4.8
( 8 reviews )

411 Smith St, Brooklyn, NY 11231, United States

“Smith Street lives up to the hype! Awesome shop with lots of flash on the walls giving real “old school” vibes. The artists were all easy going and welcoming. They had time for walk ins which I was not expecting. If you’re a tattoo collector you have to get something from Smith Street.”

Roulette Intermedium
4.6
( 10 reviews )

509 Atlantic Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11217, United States

“Sight lines, informality, and most of all programming, first rate. More dance parties and Robert Browning programs would be better still.”

Prospect Park Carousel
4.5
( 8 reviews )

452 Flatbush Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11225, United States

“This carousel is great. Over 100 years old and in beautiful condition. A ride is only $3. It's right next to the zoo. They have a cute snack bar with large water bottles for $3. It's a nice place to sit and watch the people (and horses) go by.”
