“I'm impressed by their metal selection and have been able to find records that I couldn't find elsewhere in town at this store. Also, for the most part, their prices are either average or lower compared to other places. Organization of the store is a little bit scattered, but it's still easy enough to find everything. The owner seems pretty friendly and helpful. Overall good environment and record shop, pretty underrated place to go. They also have cool band stickers for cheap. I would definitely come back if I were in the area.”

3522 N Vancouver Ave, Portland, OR 97227, United States

“No review for food cause it isn’t a restaurant - its a great place to do fun crafts. This was my second visit - and my daughter’s first. We each drank some Seltzer since it was the middle of the afternoon. My daughter did the macrame plant hanger and I did the macrame wall art. Great instruction and Lee the wonderful staff person, helped and guided as needed. We each had a great time and would recommend it for a date night or an outing with friends.”

Artifact: Creative Recycle
4.5
( 16 reviews )

3630 SE Division St, Portland, OR 97202, United States

“Artifact used to be my favorite spot when I first moved to Portland. I have a lot of cute things that I have purchased from them. After more experiences with the store, I’m just not excited to go there anymore. I purchased a couch for roughly $400 a while back. I paid to have it picked up from Artifact and delivered to my apartment from a company that Artifact recommended. They didn’t even bring the couch in the apartment building and said it wouldn’t fit. They took it back to Artifact and since they don’t do returns, I had $400 of in-store credit. That’s a LOT of money to lose with nothing to show for it. I know things happen but it felt kind of slimy. Seems like a great way to make a lot of money quick. (They still have the couch to sell and I have $400 of in-store credit to spend there.) I have tried to sell my clothes there as well and they are extremely particular about what they take. I have had them give me all of my things back twice and not want anything. It just ends up feeling like a waste of time and energy. The products are EXTREMELY overpriced for what they are. $24 for a T-shirt from a consignment shop…. $5 for a random rock. Yikes. I find the staff to be extremely cold and not friendly at all. Village Merchants is just down the street, has great staff, and great prices.”

Rose City Rollers

7805 SE Oaks Park Way, Portland, OR 97202, United States

“This place was so much fun. A friend asked me to go, I'm a roller skater, so I had to check it out. The culture is a lot different than my "norm" but it was incredible. Some people had signs and were family of the players. They taught us the rules and we screamed and cheered with them. It was a riot, we felt welcomed. These chicks are badass! Oh .... The names... The best!!! I'd suggest some ear plugs if you have sensitive ears and maybe bring a pillow for the bleachers, those things SUCK!”
