Imagine a whirlwind of activity, yet amidst this busy backdrop, there's this incredible lady at the counter who's like a superhero, ensuring no popcorn is left behind – especially when I almost forgot mine! The cinemas themselves? Picture this: grandiose in size yet cozy as your living room, with seats so comfortable you'll feel like you're lounging on clouds. And the cherry on top? Its location is a strategic masterpiece, perched just above one of the main entrances, a mere hop, skip, and a jump – or should I say, just two floors up. “Wow! We had a wonderful afternoon, spent, walking the sculpture trail and exploring the plant centre. With a cuppa and a muffin, in the little cafe, to finish off a great long weekend. The sculptures were interesting. Hubby is a metal and stainless steel fabricator, sò was very impressed with the metal sculptures. The gardens were immaculate and the cafe area was clean and welcoming, after the walk. It’s well manned by friendly, young staff members. All in all, a great experience. Highly recommended.”

Reading Cinemas Queenstown
4.2
( 10 reviews )

11-14 Mall Street, Queenstown 9197, New Zealand

“Omg this cinema was just a bit sub-par. We walked in, it was clean enough but smells of BO and cheap deodorant. It was so stuffy in there I didn’t feel too well. It felt better as the movie started though. The food and drinks seemed very overpriced. Not my favourite movie experience, although the staff members were very friendly.”

Dunedin Railway Station
4.6
( 10 reviews )

3074332, Dunedin 9016, New Zealand

“While at Port Chalmers, we opted for a shuttle to venture into Dunedin. Along the way, the Dunedin Railways Station immediately captured our attention, standing out as we passed by en route to the Octagon. Despite its modest size, the architectural splendor of this building is truly remarkable. The exterior is adorned with a vibrant garden that harmoniously complements its design, creating a picturesque setting. Upon entering, we were further impressed by the grandeur of the main interior. The wheelchair-accessible main entrance facilitated our initial exploration, yet we encountered a limitation at the double-leaf back door, which was only partially opened toward the railway. This restriction hindered our ability to fully circumnavigate the station and appreciate the view of the railway from the rear. We managed to find our way to see the railway by passing through the side entrance.”
