Citadel Of Cascais
4.6
( 8 reviews ) $$
Open until 11:59 PM

Av. Dom Carlos I 246, 2750-310 Cascais, Portugal

“Thought I was walking into a fort but instead found myself walking into a beautiful courtyard surrounded by art galleries, tavern, bookstore, sitting areas, and the most impressive sculptures both in the front and back. There's a modern 5-star hotel at one end with a very impressive lobby. Great place if you want to have some quiet time away from the crowded bustling streets of Cascais. I'm not sure if there was anything else inside the fortress but this area alone made it worthwhile.”

Teatro Aberto
4.5
( 10 reviews )

R. Armando Cortez, 1050-107 Lisboa, Portugal

“I had the opportunity to go see the play “O Filho” in this wonderful theater. I arrived a little early and appreciated the fact that they had a bar/cafe inside while I waited in the waiting room. Staff were all very friendly. In addition to the play being fantastic, the theater room is comfortable and welcoming, has good visibility (taking into account that they are at one end) and good acoustics.”

Casa Da Mariquinhas
4.4
( 8 reviews ) $$
Closed until 07:30 PM

R. de São Sebastião 25, Porto, Portugal

“This was a hidden gem, very close to my rented apartment near Rua das Aldas. The setting was an intimate and authentic tavern, maybe enough space for 25 guests, and they gave me a table with a great view even though I was by myself. The singing was heartfelt and the guitar playing was beautiful. The food was also great! The show lasted for about 3 hours in total. I could not have asked for a better experience and would like to bring my family here someday.”

Museu De Jose Malhoa
4.5
( 8 reviews )

Parque D. Carlos I, Caldas da Rainha, Portugal

“A lovely little gallery well worth an hour to visit. It's offers a great insight into Portuguese art at the turn of the 20th century, particularly Naturalism, the work of Malhoa and his contemporaries. Also take time to wonder around the surrounding park which is dotted with sculptures.”

Interpretive Center Of Arraiolos Carpet
4.5
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

Praça do Município 19, 7040-027 Arraiolos, Portugal

“The area surrounding the interpretative centre is one of local history of tapetes. Sight seeing the area gives information on how tapetes are made and how the industry began in Arraiolos. It is a place where you will definitely enjoy being around the locals and enjoying handwoven craftwork. No pictures of any store was taken to protect the designs of carpets, as you would have to go in to enjoy these because each store owner would give you the history and reasoning behind a new carpet or a carpet that is to be repaired and restored to its original state. Also some tapetes are displayed on the street as you would find on banners or posters. It is such a beautiful experience. The Interpretative centre was not opened the day I visited, but around its locations on the walls and on the floor there are so many enchanting details.”

Museu Da Agua
4.3
( 16 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

R. Alviela 12, 1170-012 Lisboa, Portugal

“Nice small museum. Some good history about water and how it was historically supplied to Lisbon. The stem pump is interesting to view as well. It's a small the location is a little out of the way and parking by car isn't great. Overall good though.”

Museu Monografico De Conimbriga
4.5
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

Rua Professor Vergílio Correia, 3150-220 Condeixa-a-Velha, Portugal

“We didn't have time to go to the actual museum on site but we saw a small part of the ruins, which were spectacular. To know that you are looking at and being a part of something that was built in the first century is an incredible feeling. The floor mosaics are beautiful and the area itself is quite accessible. We saw a small portion of the ruins as we didn't know it was such a large area. So when visiting go with a lot of time to spare and comfortable walking.”

Typographia

R. Augusta 93, 1100-048 Lisboa, Portugal

“Found this store by chance and absolutely loved it! They have T-shirts of wonderful quality with original prints. I got two with prints from movies. It’s a great place, if you’re searching for a souvenir from Lisbon (not necessarily connected to Portugal, but they also have options with Lisbon print).”

Festival Do Crato

Campo Primeiro de Maio 7430, 7430-115 Crato, Portugal

Torre Da Igreja Do Castelo De Sao Jorge
4.2
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 09:00 AM

Largo de Santa Cruz do Castelo 15, 1100-060 Lisboa, Portugal

“In my opinion, it is not worth spending 5€ for a ticket. There is little space at the top, so because of this and the amount of people, you can't enjoy what the owners call "the best view of Lisbon." True, the ticket price includes a welcome drink, but for that price you can buy a bottle of wine and enjoy your time at another free viewpoint in the city. Right next door is a great free viewpoint of the same area with an amazing atmosphere.”

Estadio Do Leca Fc

R. Veloso Salgado 803, 4450-801 Leça da Palmeira, Portugal

“We visited this place last Sunday. We trained roller here.”

Estatua Rainha Catarina De Braganca
4.5
( 10 reviews )

Lisbon, Portugal

“We had a layover in Lisbon, Portugal, so we decided to walk around and see some sights. Ended up at this park where we were met by morning walkers, joggers, and bikers. It was peaceful walking by the river. There's a interesting museum/tower, which you can pay to go in. Pleasantly surprised to see an awesome sculpture on our walk! She's beautiful! Her pose shows elegance and strength. She was once the Dutchess Rainha D. Catarina of Portugal, when King Henry died. There was also a area for fresh veggies and fruit vendors, selling their goods. This is a nice park, I can see why a lot of people would come here for their daily workout.”
