Five Star Cinemas - Brisbane City (elizabeth St)
4.7
( 8 reviews )

175 Elizabeth St, Brisbane City QLD 4000, Australia

“It is always a unique experience of watching movies in this cinema, a heritage-listed building. Don't expect high picture quality and sound standard but I can say the ticket is worth every penny you spend. The staff are nice and friendly and will always help you.”

S.s. Maheno
4.6
( 16 reviews )

K'gari QLD 4581, Australia

“Pretty views, nice beach. Interesting shipwreck and the tour guide with us told us some info about it. Can't touch, climb or be 5m near it but that's reasonable”

Zero Latency Gold Coast
4.9
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 12:00 PM

34 Smith St, Southport QLD 4215, Australia

“We have just had the most amount of fun at #ZeroLatencyVR playing a VR Interactive game shooting the hell out of Zombies! Then we topped the visit of with a healthy dose of throwing axes 😂 Unlike other Attractions, they also emailed us our photos and a video of the experience for Free - was such a great bonus and momento that we've all had a giggle over! The team were all super happy and super friendly too - an all round great time! If anyone is on the Gold Coast and looking for a fun family activity, I would strongly encourage you to look into Zero Latency! SO MUCH FUN!!!!”

Cairns Art Gallery
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 09:00 AM

40 Abbott St, Cairns City QLD 4870, Australia

“Free entry! Recommend to go as they have three floors with three different exhibitions. I love the one “Colonialism and Nature Painting” by Ellis Rowan as it shows the nature of the Queensland area.”

Great Barrier Reef Aquarium
4.4
( 16 reviews )

2/36 Kelleher Pl, Townsville City QLD 4810, Australia

“A great place for families to see tropical fish without getting wet. Our 3 year old spent an hour looking at the fish. There are bits the kids climb into and look closer at the fish - ours really enjoyed this. The touching area was closed due to COVID.”

Cairns Performing Arts Centre
4.6
( 8 reviews )

9-11 Florence St, Cairns City QLD 4870, Australia

“Well done to all the cast & the production team for the Cairns Choral Society's 2024 SOLD OUT production of Les Misérables. The 2pm matinee performance was the penultimate show. I was delighted to have been in the audience for this wonderful performance at the Cairns Performing Arts Centre.”

Queensland Maritime Museum
4.5
( 16 reviews )

412 Stanley St, South Brisbane QLD 4101, Australia

“It was a very beautiful experience, seeing the history of boats! There are some interesting reads. Unless you like to look. The real experience is when you get on the huge boat outside. That was really nice, really puts you in the experience (if you got that imagination in you) Make sure you go throughout the whole boat. I really enjoyed going to the top of the boat”

Event Cinemas Springfield
4.2
( 8 reviews )

1 Main St, Springfield Central QLD 4300, Australia

“It's okay. Seats and cinemas are old. Food choices are limited. At least 15 minutes of ads before each movie. In the foyer, the seats are all stained and filthy. Save your money and go somewhere better: at Jindalee all seats recline and you get hot food and alcohol in all sessions. Plus everything's clean and the service is better. Don't bother here unless you absolutely have to.”

1up Arcade - Brisbane
4.6
( 16 reviews )
Closed until 12:00 PM

230 Lytton Rd, Morningside QLD 4170, Australia

“We had a fantastic time at 1Up Arcade. The flat rate price and free play is awesome. It means you can restart that game halfway through and kids get the chance to jam out games without worrying about a Game Over. Some real classic games in there. The Pinball machines were by far my favourite. Super cool. For the ability to be able to play up to 8 hours, I thought it was fairly priced and definitely got my moneys worth. Can't wait to go back.”

Cairns Museum
4.5
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

Cairns School of Arts building, Cnr Lake and Shields St, 93/105 Lake St, Cairns City QLD 4870, Australia

“Very informative about the history of the city of Cairns. Lots of people stories on display which brings a personal feel, with the photos attached to the stories you almost feel like you are taken back to those times. I realise it is called the Cairns Museum therefore is about Cairns, but I was expecting a bit more about Cape York as a region, and perhaps something about the unique flora and fauna - there was hardly anything about the wildlife surrounding the Cairns area, apart from a small section about what animals would like to eat you here. Overall very happy with my 1.5 hour visit, would come back for sure.”

Reading Cinemas Bundaberg
4.2
( 8 reviews )

1 Johanna Blvd, Svensson Heights QLD 4670, Australia

“Awesome staff, awesome food and awesome movie. I watched an 11AM movie and got there a tad early. I was just passing through and wasn't aware of opening times as it's not provided on the website or on Google. Approaching the doors I noticed it does say they open at 10:45AM so just a heads up for anyone else. Apart from that, no complaints and I had a great time!”

Lollipop's Playland & Cafe
4.2
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 09:00 AM

104 Gympie Rd, Strathpine QLD 4500, Australia

“My kid loves this place, he had so much fun each time. I think it is the indoor playground that offers the best price. There are 3-4 sections for different age of children, my boy is two and he enjoys all sections. The place is reasonably clean, facilities are semi new, maintained well. There are a lot of tables for parents, a small cafe offers coffee and food in a reasonable price. I believe the kids party will be fun as it provides different package and the price is good. The aircon should work better in summer”

La Boite Theater
4.6
( 10 reviews )

6 Musk Ave, Kelvin Grove QLD 4059, Australia

“Excellent little theatre on the University campus. The staff were lovely and very accommodating to health needs. We went to watch a very naughty Christmas the theatre was intimate with great views from all the seats”

Bcc Cinemas Toowoomba Strand
4.2
( 10 reviews )

163 Margaret St, Toowoomba City QLD 4350, Australia

“Went to book two tickets online but when it showed the price as $50 for two I decided against it. How many others do that I wonder. Too damn expensive for me. Much better to fill the cinema at half that price than run a movie for a few. I’ll wait till I get home to my Reading cinema thanks ! That would be no star rating if I could remove it.”

Big Screen Cinemas - Caloundra
4
( 8 reviews )

11 Bulcock St, Caloundra QLD 4551, Australia

“This cinema is great. It was recently restored and has lovely comfy seats. There is also one cinema fitted out with recliner seats. Prices are very reasonable - $10 for a normal ticket and $15 for a recliner. We saw the new kids pic, Migration. It was great and my kids loved it. This cinema hosts several film festivals throughout the year so it's worth keeping an eye on their website for some interesting alternative offerings. The choc-tops are also worth a mention. Yum.”
