“A visit to the ancien holiday maison of an Italian influential writer, which was lately used by his grandson Marquis Roi - a great collector of cigars, board games, books,….a lover of symmetric decoration,….gives us an insight of of the intellectual and bourgeois class of the 19th and 20th century. That inspires me a lot. The visit was accompanied by a friendly guide just a little regrets of not having enough time to wandering and looking more in detail the books, the furnitures the decorations there.”

The signs could be a little better and remember to buy the ticket for the cave below the museum at the entrance otherwise you are not allowed down there.”

The gallery has two floors, the downstairs had a parametric interior with wall lighting that illuminated the space so well to enhance the artefacts. My only constructive criticism is the selection of paintings hall upstairs, it did not connect to the space or the Etruscan works, kind of disturbing.”
