“Refreshing walk up from the marina through the forest, very peaceful The castle ruins that are left are enough to give an idea of what was, an impressive castle overlooking the valley all around. Great views from the top, there are picnic tables at the castle and the walk back through the great rock of the Mill also fantastic.”

“An interactive museum dedicated to the history of chocolate. With a pretty useful audio guide you can travel through the history to get some interesting insights about chocolate and its evolution from a spicy beverage to various candies and bars we all do like. There are lots of games, interactions including flavour tasting and of course unlimited chocolate degustation. At the end you can get a cup of hot chocolate with some unusual ingredients like chilli pepper. The price is more than comparable for this amount of activities.”

“Must see if you like gardens. We never saw the same thing twice and were easily there a couple of hours, well wife likes gardens but i enjoyed it too! There's a vast variety of garden and pond areas to view and photograph. On arrival you will be encouraged to walk barefoot, so TAKE YOUR SANDELS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE THEM OFF. The grass areas were perfectly manicured and felt like carpet. It's really well looked after, but not cheap. We paid £10.00 per adult (Aug 2018).”

“A must-visit-place. A good guided tour ,which at some times also is in English or German. If you go on a French (bad timed visit ex) guided tour ,you get a folder in English and the you understand most of it.The highlight is of course the train-ride in the tunnels which everybody who has played Half-life 2 will love even more.There is also a ride with original elevators,visits to gun-positions and a lot of other things to see.The landscape is also very nice.”

“Cute château with an even cuter tour guide. We went on a sunday. If you want to visit the château, you have to do a guided tour (which is no way a punishment, note what I said before). The tour was of course in French, which is brilliant if you also want to practise your passive French language skill”

“Parking was terribly difficult. There’s only a few select parallel parking spaces out front and then you have to park outside of the village a bit and walk in. The castle was incredible! The free loan closet of costumes for the kids was such a nice touch and we appreciated the English papers since the tour was in French. Our tour guide Nina was so kind and accommodating with all our questions. Highly recommend if you’re in the area”
