“A really pretty castle in some amazing scenery. It is well worth making the walk from the car park to at least part way down the stairs towards the castle to get a good view of it. The stairs are slippery and muddy so do take care.”

I have attended a lot of events from poetry night singers, and more importantly, in my opinion, all the events helping the people in Gaza. “Lovely day out at the Argory. I took the kids, 8 and 12. They both enjoyed the house tour and the play area. There was a decent size cafe at regular NT prices 🤷 and a couple of great walks. I think you could do this tour and gardens in under half a day so have a good itinerary planned out for the remainder. As usual for NTNI very friendly well trained staff. Definitely worth a visit. We will be returning again to have a tinkle on the Steinway”

“We saw the signs for Greyabbey so decided to take a drive down there on a spare day of our holiday. It was beautiful. So much rich history and the ruins that are left are very well kept. We took a walk around the graveyard also, which although was uneven was peaceful and beautiful. Take time to read all of the information posts and picture what life would have been like for the monks that lived there all those centuries ago.”

“Food was great. Relaxed, easy going atmosphere. Only thing that let it down was the service. Had to ask for knives and forks when the dinner came out. Had to remind them we ordered a side and then also go looking for the drinks. Wouldn't stop me going back. Great food and thankfully the chef realises you need a slice of bread with muscles.”

“What a beautiful waterfront! Just walk around the area and take in the sights. You can go inside the museum as well . The waterfront is dotted with many luxurious yachts. Best time would be to go late evening on a weekday. The entire place is beautifully illuminated.”
