Great opportunities to learn about war-related St. Louis historical events, including this facility's dedication. The interiors are clean and well-maintained. Displays and artifacts are outstanding. “Finally got to do Jacobs cave! It was amazing! Nice and cool 56 degrees inside the cave while it was a humid 95 degrees outside! Learned about the prehistoric animals found in and around the caves. Saw evidence of floods and earthquakes. We got to hold a stalagmite and touch petrified wood.Drink some cave water right out of the stream. At the end I bought some pretty rocks! All in all it was a good time. Loved our tour guide she was so much fun and had great energy. 10/10 recommend!”

( 8 reviews )

“Amazing theater experience. The staff was super friendly and before the movie the guy talked to us about the theater and what's happening there soon. They show more indie-type movies. Let me Tell you the Sound system for the movie was Incredible! Crisp, clear, perfect sound during the movie and I was really impressed.”

Kaleidoscope
4.6
( 8 reviews )

2500 Grand Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64108, United States

“Went with a 2.5 year old and 11 month old. Both kids had so much fun making fun projects! It was so nice because they limit the number of people so it wasn’t crammed with people! We did have to get our tickets almost two months in advance but it was worth it!”

J. Rieger & Co.
4.7
( 8 reviews )

2700 Guinotte Ave, Kansas City, MO 64120, United States

“We did the tour, which was followed by a tasting. I was really excited about seeing a KC company revived. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions about the history, distilling process, mash bill, aging, etc. The tour was not extremely long, about an hour. After the tour, there was a tasting of several of their spirits. Afterward, the bar was open to taste other select whiskey and cocktails. Finally, I totally recommend doing the ride down the slide, checking out the restaurant, and bar. Thank you for a memorable birthday. Cheers!”

Bookhouse Cinema
4.8
( 8 reviews )

715 E Broadway St, Joplin, MO 64801, United States

“Comfy atmosphere, delicious food, prompt service. The food is prepared perfectly, not too greasy or dizzled in cheese. (Unless you choose the cheese-encumbered meal) A great place to relax and enjoy yourself. There are lots of vegan and gluten-free options as well!”

Lyceum Theatre
4.8
( 8 reviews )

114 High St, Arrow Rock, MO 65320, United States

“I loved seeing the Addam’s Family at the Lyceum. It is a quaint old church, but it is bigger on the inside! The staff do a great job of managing the crowd and the house was packed. The performance was brilliant, engaging, funny, and well cast. There are drinks available at the concession stand (Beer, Wine, soda, water). The bathrooms are clean. There is no official parking lot. Just pull off the side of the road somewhere in town and walk. Very few handicap spots, so if you will need this accommodation get there early.”

Money Museum
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Open until 04:00 PM

1 Memorial Dr, Kansas City, MO 64198, United States

“We took our lower-elementary-age kids to the Money Museum, and honestly we thought they might last about ten minutes before losing interest. We ended up staying for about 45 minutes and they had a great time! There was lots to see and do, and the highlights were trying to pick up the gold bar, creating their own currency, and seeing the robots carry the pallets into the vault. I would definitely recommend taking kids kindergarten and up!”

“What a great afternoon! After an excellent introduction from one of the volunteers, were we given a tour of the visitor centre. Really informative and interesting. Would never had known the foundations of an international company started in KC.”

( 10 reviews )

“This was the coolest little town. It has a one room schoolhouse, a blacksmith, livestock, and several other neat buildings with employees in time period clothing. Everyone is nice and informative. It was super affordable, and the gifts shop gifts are so cute.”

The Library Center
4.7
( 8 reviews )

4653 S Campbell Ave, Springfield, MO 65810, United States

“The staff here are always nice. They can be busy and maybe talk less than their other branches which is a shame because most librarians have wonderful knowledge on books and make recommendations. Checking out can feel like retail sometimes. The Schweitzer-Brentwood branch sets such a high standard for loving their guests. Maybe that is why it feels a little less here. I’m fond of the organized sections they have for recommendations and the teen area is fantastic. It’s truly a huge library with something for all ages. The sitting areas our comfortable and the meeting rooms bring life to the community. There is always an event to look forward to. Sadly, the coffee shop diminishes a visit and is not worth a stop. The people there are sweet, but they charge high Starbucks prices for cheap filter brew coffee like you might have at home with a coffee pot and Folgers. They add a few syrups if you want but it is equivalent to coffee at home or a gas station with little success to make it taste good. Cheap is cheap and they seem to just be holding space with no goal of success. Seven Brew across the street is worth the visit to get your caffeine before reading there. It would be delightful to have them or Dancing Mule take over.”

Kansas City Museum
4.6
( 8 reviews )

3218 Gladstone Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64123, United States

“Learned many new things pertaining to Kansas Cities history. I did reminisce and miss the way it once was. However with the new old fashioned soda and ice cream parlor below that now serves alcohol and provides a billiards 🎱 room to enjoy in some game's while enjoying the entirety of it all. Great date idea!”

Marcus Town Square Cinema
4.3
( 16 reviews )

7805 State Rte N, Dardenne Prairie, MO 63368, United States

“Amazing prices! I couldn’t believe the price for value, it feels like any other Wehrenberg, AMC theater of the 2000-2015 era, before the new generation of posh, overpriced luxury theaters. Have gone multiple times since 2018, a very clean theater great for young and old alike. Great values on snacks. All the whiners and complainers can pay $20+ per ticket, buh-byeee! Also, the St. Andrew’s Dollar Cinema in St. Charles has reopened after years, it’s been around since the 1960s. Please support our local businesses!”

Bothwell Lodge State Historic Site
4.7
( 10 reviews )

19349 Bothwell State Park Rd, Sedalia, MO 65301, United States

“They have two hiking trails we love doing them in the spring/fall when the weather is nicer. The playground today looked to be getting demolished ! Hopefully they'll rebuild it I've never done the tour but there are tours that take you into the actual lodge which you can reserve. Definitely plan and call ahead, they won't do walk-ins. I believe there may be a cost involved with it but I don't know what it is.”

Smash Rage Room
4.7
( 8 reviews )

1558 Miller Rd, Imperial, MO 63052, United States

“I brought my wife here for her birthday. Outstanding is an understatement. The personalized experience from the staff was awesome. They made us feel right at home for letting off some steam in a unique, fun, and safe way. Highly recommend!”

3010 S National Ave, Springfield, MO 65804, United States

“The staff are very friendly and helpful. They are always looking to help their customers grow in gaming and in having fun. I've enjoyed many events, including birthday's and member parties, with my son and that time with him has been amazing. Facilities are clean and well kept.”

Circus Flora
4.8
( 8 reviews )

3401 Washington Ave, St. Louis, MO 63103, United States

“Wow! We decided to end our anniversary outings with our first trip to Circus Flora at the Big Top and it totally didn't disappoint! We got to see Undercover on opening night, bravo guys especially to The Flying Archers! Keep up the effort! The theme and skill involved was on point. Also it was hilarious! We sat in the second row which was totally worth it! However the place is small so any seat is a good seat I think. Tix were a little hard to find on their website but once you find the right webpage it's simple. Please go support!”
