( 10 reviews )

807 V St NW, Washington, DC 20001, United States

“This theater is nice, it's small but that's what makes it so good it's not crowded. I saw two movies here already and I'm going to see a third and fourth. The concessions stand is high priced though, but; it's the movies.”

“So easy to miss this gem. In the middle of the busy Washington DC areas and roads there lies a garden so peaceful and with serenity that brings you to another level of tranquility. Great lay out with benches for resting. Two museum are within the garden itself. Franked by the castles. A lovely place that you cannot miss. A must go.”

National Law Enforcement Museum

( 8 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

444 E St NW, Washington, DC 20001, United States

“Another great museum in Washington DC. Although it is important to know that unlike most museums in DC it is not free. An adult ticket costs $22.00 per adult. Parking is behind the museum with metered spots along the street. Inside the museum there is a small room with tables and vending machines. You can buy snacks from the machines or bring your own packed lunch. The exhibits are unique and diverse. We enjoyed everyone of them. Many are interactive. You come away from this museum with a complete understanding and appreciation of the history of law enforcement in the United States. We spent well over three hours visiting and could’ve spent at least and hour more. They have a good size gift shop with something for everyone. We will definitely return.”

The Bishop's Garden

Pilgrim Rd, Washington, DC 20016, United States

“Didn't get to the cathedral as it was available from 10am so went to the garden and what a gem. So peaceful, full of variety of plants and flowers. They also have a historical herb garden that people would grow back in medieval ages, together with what they used it for. Old trees are hanging over the garden. There is a water source and plenty of benches to sit down and relax. It is a great place for photo shoots with diverse backgrounds. Overall you feel like you're in some place in England.”

Cosmos Club

2121 Massachusetts Ave NW, Washington, DC 20008, United States

“Invited by a member for dinner. A really nice old school club in the heart of DC. Many lovely old rooms to explore that were furnished in a décor that harks back to a bygone era. Very good food and service in the restaurant, there were at least two separate bars too. Overall impressed with the experience. Loved the library! Worth a visit if you're able to.”

Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library
4.6
( 8 reviews )

901 G St NW, Washington, DC 20001, United States

“I had the pleasure of visiting the Martin Luther King Jr. memorial library and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the facility and service offered. The building itself is stunning, with its modern architecture and ample natural light. The interior is spacious, clean, and well-organized, making it easy to find whatever you need. The library's collection of books, audiobooks, and movies is extensive. In addition to the traditional library offerings, there were plenty of areas for studying, working, or just relaxing with a good book. The technology available was top-notch, with computers, and printing services. Overall, the Martin Luther King Jr. memorial library is a true gem in the heart of Washington D.C. I highly recommend visiting and taking advantage of all it has to offer.”

Museum Of Illusions Washington Dc

Closed until 10:00 AM

CityCenterDC, 927 H St NW, Washington, DC 20001, United States

“I had fun here and Tracy was so, so great! I cannot say enough nice things about her. I feel like the museum branding is a little…off? I do appreciate the explanations of each illusion but it’s definitely more of a place for selfies. It’s …”

Anacostia Community Museum
4.6
( 16 reviews )

1901 Fort Pl SE, Washington, DC 20020, United States

“I discovered this museum by chance and thankfully so. It is the first Smithsonian Museum dedicated to African American History. It was certainly a smaller space than I expected yet I was pleasantly surprised at how well designed the exhibits were and how very interactive and engaging the entire museum was. The garden outside really caught my attention, Lavender, mint oregano and rosemary and some other random flowers that attract giant bees and countless moths and butterflies!!!!!! I must say the landscaping is certainly a highlight. I found the exhibit very interesting, focused on women and environmental issues, gentrification and systemic racism enhancing the effects of climate change in low income areas. Very thoughtfully curated and well managed. The staff was welcoming and the front desk informed me of all I needed to feel comfortable in the space as I walked in. There was plenty of security and a lot of people enjoying the space with their children. The outdoors make a great place for a picnic lunch as well.”

Rubell Museum Dc
4.8
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

65 I St SW, Washington, DC 20024, United States

“Upon entering, visitors are greeted with gigantic works of art overlooking the room's spacious lobby arranged at each corner of the walls. However, these pieces are only a visual appetizer as to what's to come further on, where the Rubell Musrum houses much more captivating pieces. Continuing onward, numerous rooms of different art can be freely explored in any order. While paintings and other 2D art is present, I was mostly captivated by 3D works and installations which fill up entire spaces. Being able to inspect and interact with these pieces at an up-close distance never loses its thrill and is always engaging. Exhibits rotate as is expected, meaning visitors will be thrilled across any number of visits that are spaced apart.”

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Dc Bryant Street

( 10 reviews )

630 Rhode Island Ave NE, Washington, DC 20002, United States

“Fabulous! Just saw the new movie, with Denzel Washington headlining. Love the decor! Theatre smells good. Seats extra large , reclining and you can order food to be served at your seat. Security on point! The movie was clear and sound. Great large picture poster art on all walls! The food was delicious! I ordered the Alamo Salad! Yum! Parking outside easy. Logistically right across from MetroBarDC!!!! Lovely day! Had a great time.”

Heurich House Museum
4.5
( 8 reviews )

1307 New Hampshire Ave NW, Washington, DC 20036, United States

“We went to the holiday bazaar and I was disappointed by it. The $12 entry fee covered access only. Drinks were another $12 and the vendors were many of the same I've seen at other places across the city. I thought we would have entry to explore the museum, or there would be more decor. Felt like a crowded, expensive farmer's market with vague holiday touches.”

Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial
4.6
( 16 reviews )
Open until 11:59 PM

540 Independence Ave SW, Washington, DC 20202, United States

“Beautiful and interesting memorial, especially at night when you can really see how the light enhances the visuals. Touching quotes that remind us of the position he stepped into power. I like that it also hearkens back to his childhood. It is a very touching monument.”
