26 Jim Bradford Trail, Mimbres, NM 88049, United States

“The Gila Cliff Dwellings have been a must see adventure for my wife and me since we met. Celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary exploring the area was nothing short of spectacular! The ancient dwellings carved into the cliffs offer a unique glimpse into the past, leaving visitors in awe of the stories embedded in the rocks. The surrounding area adds to the allure of the experience. The drive to the park is an unexpected adventure, with scenic views and a sense of anticipation building up as you approach. The park not only offers a historical journey but also provides a friendly environment for service dogs, ensuring accessibility for all visitors. Overall, the Gila Cliff Dwellings seems to be a must-visit destination for couples seeking a harmonious blend of history and the wonders of nature.”

Closed until 11:30 AM

202 San Felipe St NW, Albuquerque, NM 87104, United States

“Great museum! Everywhere you turn, you get something new and exciting. The snakes and other critters look very well taken care of. A good place to take kids, but it is small, so mind your space. Owner and volunteer were very approachable and kind - their souvenirs are top quality!”

Petroglyph National Monument Visitor Center
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 08:30 AM

6510 Western Trail NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120, United States

“Amazing that you can walk from town into the desert and see these amazing markings. Easy flat walk that's dog friendly or more arduous climb with a view. Not to be missed. 20 minutes or an hour of hiking.”

Coronado Historic Site
4.7
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

485 Kuaua Rd, Bernalillo, NM 87004, United States

“I would visit just for the views! There is a small museum and a special exhibit showing murals that were removed from the ruins for conservation. The actual ruins are barely noticeable, follow the path and read the description of what each area used to look like. A very small gift shop that does not compare to any of the offerings in Albuquerque or Santa Fe. I would say this is the perfect place for historians and archeologists interested in knowing about the excavations and remains.”

Alien Zone

( 8 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

216 N Main St, Roswell, NM 88201, United States

“My pup & I had a great time wandering through the exhibit and taking pictures. The props could use a little fixing up, but I imagine it's hard to keep everything looking shiny & new when it's available to the public. The wear kind of adds to the charm, in a way. Cashier was super sweet.”

( 8 reviews )

4250 Cerrillos Rd Suite 1314, Santa Fe, NM 87507, United States

“Love the small theatre with the reclining seats and food brought to you. Best place to watch a movie”

La Cueva 6 - Allen Theatres
4.1
( 8 reviews )

2322 W Pierce St, Carlsbad, NM 88220, United States

“Worst customer service ever! Movie was supposed to start at 2.30pm. They tried starting it at 3 to no avail. Had to go to the concession stand myself to let them know. They didn't seem to care. Got my money back, but wasted 1 hour! Also no AC running. Do NOT visit this place.”

Garcia Street Books
4.8
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

376 Garcia St, Santa Fe, NM 87501, United States

“We visited GSB on a Sunday morning. The store is an independent bookstore, which is my favorite kind. They carry new books (not used), and a small assortment of additional products (tote bags, bookmarks, etc). The bookstore is small so there’s not a super wide-ranging selection. I wouldn’t recommend going to GSB with a certain book in mind you’re trying to find. It’s better to go and browse and see what strikes your fancy. In the half hour or so we were there, we found five books to buy for $94.32 including tax. One was an analysis of Snape, the Harry Potter character, by author Lorrie Kim. It was aptly named ‘Snape: The definitive analysis of Hogwarts's mysterious potions master’. Go check GSB out. They’ve got a free book cart outside for a suggested small donation, plus sections inside to peruse.”
