“My family of 4 participated in the Mafia Heist escape room. Although we did not escape in time, we had a lot of fun trying. This escape room is very challenging and my boys (18 & 21) along with my husband and I enjoyed trying to figure out the clues to get from room to room. We really appreciated the hints that were given along the way to get us going in the right direction. We will definitely go back sometime and try one of the other rooms. Highly recommend for anyone who likes puzzles and figuring things out!”

“You do have to wear a mask when you do come in and they provide free masks. Everyone wants to moan about how COVID is over and no one wants to talk about the flu. Masks can prevent transmission of common sicknesses most of the time. Before I came here, I did see one star reviews saying that they were anti-black. The moment I parked, I saw Black Lives Matter flags all over their windows. They have POC employees and have a wonderful section of black literature. So I’m pretty sure that the majority of the one star reviews are fake. I had asked an employee for recommendations and they picked out their favorites and their coworkers favorites as well. Very knowledgeable and friendly. If you don’t wanna talk to anyone, they do have written little postcard recommendations about books on the bookshelves. They have an amazing kid section that I would’ve loved when I was little. For such a small store, they try and pack every genre.”

“We were very much looking forward to visiting this museum. However, a woman named Jeanne who gives the tours there was was very rude to us. She and her tour group entered the room we were in and then she mocked us and told us we were mot welcome in the room. We will no longer be recommending this museum. The reception staff were kind, but Jeanne, their boss, was not. Avoid this museum at all costs if you’re allergic to snobbery. No amount of marble or beautiful Tiffany stained glass can make up for ugliness. Art is meant to celebrate life. Jeanne’s attitude rather inharmoniously clashed with her surroundings and failed to live up to that philosophy. The museum should chose better docents.”

It has such a cool vibe, especially in the original screen room with all the historic detailing. The annex is also nice and well maintained. Be sure to patronize this Decatur gem.”

“As a lifelong fan of Superman, it was a dream come true to come to his "hometown." The gift shop is great. So much Superman merchandise, including some pretty rare or exclusive things! The museum is a little hap-hazard, but absolutely FILLED with everything related to the Man of Steel! Christopher Reeves cape, Kirk Allen's Superman costume, and Perry White's desk from Adventures of Superman are all on display, as well as just about EVERYTHING that Superman ever had his name on. The huge statue is very cool, and a short walk takes you to a statue of Lois, commemorating Noel Neill! Staff was super (no pun intended) friendly and helpful. Worth the trip to any fan of the Metropolis Marvel!!”

When the standard Catt. bloomed with a much different flower than expected over a month later they immediately offered to send a replacement, as the plant I received was clearly mislabeled. I will not hesitate to order from Hausermann’s again. Great quality plants, and great customer service.”

I also learned different information culturally about Christmas decorations and why the Teddy bear was called Teddy bear. It felt warm and nice. “Amazing ride! The drop is so intense and being a hybrid makes it a super smooth ride. Sideways curves, corkscrews, loop that feels like a stall while upside down. Only thing that I wish I would have been prepared for, there is NOTHING to hang onto. Lol my husband didn't want to ride front row, so I couldn't see how much more track we had to climb and that was a mental scare when I KNEW what the drop looked like, the anticipation with no handles made it extra terrifying, but it was so great. Definitely in my top 5 favorite coasters at Great America, but it's definitely a max thrill coaster too.”
