“I will say the seats aren't the most comfortable, but other than that I love this little theater! The seats are a little small and hard. They retro fitted old benches with thin cushion style chairs. The acoustics are good. The theater itself is old, pretty. The foyer, box office area, and patio are all very inviting. My wife loves hanging out on the patio with a glass of wine.”

“We came here with our 6 and 3 year old daughters and they both had a blast here! It's not a huge place, but there's plenty to keep kids entertained including multiple indoor play areas, an art area, and some outdoor activities as well. Our kids had a blast going between the different sections over and over. Prices were a little high, but you should be able to get a few hours of entertainment out of this place. Overall, I recommend checking out this museum for anyone with younger kids.”

“First time here, loved it! It is my type of place I have been searching for. We took my mom there to see the Happy Birthday Frank Sinatra show. She really enjoyed it. Staff was friendly. The drink Ella was awesome! I will definitely go again in the near future.”

“This museum was well overdue! Purchasing tickets online prior was extremely easy instead of waiting in line. Every part of the museum was beautifully and intentionally designed. I loved the many interactive displays, but few people noticed because the text was small. Overall, our visit was great. The staff was friendly and inviting. I can’t wait to visit again.”

“Amazing! Simply amazing. I cannot even guess what this home looked like when it was decorated for a major event back in the 18th century! What a palace it must have been. Even today, in her state of preservation, she is stellar.”

“I liked this tour. It felt authentic and comprehensive for the most part. I would have liked to know a little bit more about the exterior of the home and the gardens, especially since they are maintained by a local society. Other than that, It had no drawbacks. I bundled the cost with the Charleston museum and I thought it was very affordable. Interesting architectural details that I've never seen before in other cities. I wish the third story was viewable - seems like a simple emergency exit could avert the fire code issue.”
