“It was awesome. The show made me laugh and be happy. There even was a kind of story that went along which made me feel sorry for one of the musicians. I really enjoyed it. Warning though, if you are light sensitive you may not want to sit near the front. There are some lights on the stage that during the show shine right in your face. I had to shut my eyes near the end because it just became too much for me. I could still enjoy the beats, just couldn't watch for a bit. The lights I am referring to ar in the blueish picture. There is one light showing on each side of the stage, but there are actually two more under each of those, so be careful. It's still a lot of fun and worth seeing. Enjoy!”

Harvard Club Of New York City

35 W 44th St, New York, NY 10036, United States

“This is an oasis. The rooms are larger than my first NY studio. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive. The hallway has coffee and tea service and I schlepped there regularly to get my fix. The lobby bar is busy during cocktail hours, and you meet regulars and new people. Socialize or not. The snacks are complimentary. The dining room had seasonal and regular favorites. I spent my time upstairs at the newly renovated terrace. It was for me more intimate. I used the gym daily. The club is right next to Grand Central, and restaurants and bars all around. I couldn't have been happier. The rooms are FMV so, no discount there, but what you get is a home away from home.”

“Such a beautiful little monument in the middle of Downtown Manhattan!! With views of the World Trade Center from such a green and natural park. In memory of the Irish famine of the 1800s. Lots of historical quotes and information written on the sides.”

“Classic venue for music in intimate setting. Waitstaff attentive without being a distraction. Food was pretty good (you need malt vinegar for fish and chips you heathens). Prices fair for drinks and food. If your favorite artist is booked here by all means go.”

Rooftop Cinema Club Midtown

The Hayes Theater

( 16 reviews )

240 W 44th St, New York, NY 10036, United States

“Just saw "The Cottage" and loooved it. Continuously funny and witty, with some outright hilarious moments. Excellent chemistry and performances by all actors Really nice, intimate theater. Seats on the smaller side (for my knees), but great angles for viewing. I totally agree with a review that said "every seat is a good seat". Great lighting, acoustics, and clean bathrooms. I didn't get anything from the concession stand, so can't really comment (I saw Budweiser so I passed on beer).”

Ashford & Simpson's Sugar Bar

254 W 72nd St, New York, NY 10023, United States

“The service was very good. The food was amazing. I got the fried catfish fillet with mac and cheese and sautéed spinach 10/10. The fried chicken was fried to perfection, it was crispy and packed with flavor. It is also located near the 2 & 1 train stations. You should check out this place, it’s definitely worth the try.”

“A 3500 year old obelisk that once stood before Cleopatra and Julius Caesar. Shipped to NYC in 1880 it took 112 days to move it from the quarantine station to its current location. Unfortunately NYC pollution is taking its toll on this artifact and smoothing off the hieroglyphic’s.”

Elizabeth St, New York, NY 10012, United States

“A small but beautiful garden in the midst of the hustle and grind of Soho. Statues stay watch in this serene escape from the craziness that the city brings. You can immediately feel a sense of calm as you pass through the gates into this little beautiful getaway. There is seating spattered throughout the park and it is a beautiful place just to sit, sip a coffee and get lost in a daydream.”

“A wonderful venue with eclectic decor. The food is ok, good for snacking. The drinks are fine. We had the Ox tail empenada, the popcorn, the margarita, the "Everything is Fine" cocktail, and the KCBC Superhero Sidekick IPA. We saw the "Coming out to Dead people" show. It's a very funny comedy show. 12/2023”

“I love this place. I tend to say this a lot: my biggest regret is not finding this place sooner. The atmosphere here is so much fun. You experience regular musical performances by the waitstaff while you dine. On top of that the food was really good. We came here for dinner before a show. We made reservations in advance and had no issues whatsoever. You don’t have to be a Broadway fan to enjoy the experience but if you are I know you will love it too.”
