Holey Moley Golf Club Darlinghurst
4.5
( 16 reviews )
Closed until 12:00 PM

82-94 Darlinghurst Rd, Potts Point NSW 2011, Australia

“Came here with high expectations and left a little disappointed. Reception was talking to each other and ignoring customers for a few minutes before acknowledging the existence of us. We paid for 18 holes that came to $40 p.p. which for the quality of the track and the holes is extremely steep. The place was quite cramped and the holes were a bit outdated. The company made the experience in the end, but I wouldn't recommend this venue for mini golf. The bouncer was really nice though and thoroughly did his job.”

Golden Age Cinema & Bar

80 Commonwealth St, Surry Hills NSW 2010, Australia

“We went to see Past Lives which was SUCH a special movie - I can’t stop thinking about it. The cinema is so cute - love the quaintness of a small movie theatre. Comfortable seats & great facilities. The bar is also super cute & sexy - such cool interior design & they make excellent cocktails. The Dirty Martini & Mai Tai were great, as was the Bitters Lime & Lemon. The bar menu is super too. Overall such a cool place to go. The bar staff are next level, I was admiring the cocktails & said I needed to take a photo of them. Next thing, they enhanced my photo by posing gorgeously in the background - how very lovely of them?!!! 😆🤩😆 Seriously though, they’re a great bunch, & there’s also a DJ set up too, so give them a visit!”

Sydney Jewish Museum

Closed until 10:00 AM

148 Darlinghurst Rd, Darlinghurst NSW 2010, Australia

“Sydney Jewish Museum is located in Darlinghurst near the CBD. Very few museums will hit you the way this way this museum hits you. A very informative museum about Jewish history, culture and about the holocaust. Holocaust was one of the darkest times for humanity and education about it is important to ensure such events never ever happen again. They had a new exhibition called “Reverberations” which uses artificial intelligence which has pre-recorded interviews of holocaust survivors to preserve their memories and is worth checking out. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Sydney.”

Justice And Police Museum

Cnr Phillip St &, Albert St, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia

“This was an unexpected experience that has free entry and was enjoyed by teenagers which is a feat in itself! The videos playing were informative and the history throughout was captivating. Well worth your time. It is only open on weekends, maybe for now?”

Brett Whiteley Studio
4.7
( 10 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

2 Raper St, Surry Hills NSW 2010, Australia

“Yesterday we visited the Brett Whiteley Studio in Surry Hills, which is currently showing Chapters 1959–1969. It’s all works made by Whiteley between the ages of 20 and 30, during an intensive period of travel and artistic experimentation. What I liked about this gallery was the way it was arranged. For me the pieces that spoke loudest emanated from Whiteley’s time in Fiji, and a 1968 collage called New York 1. I found the bath nudes too abstract. It’s a multimedia gallery where you can see both a wide range of his art, plus the place where Brett created it, lined with quotes and images he found inspiring. In the small gift shop you’ll find the book that inspired our secret garden visit. Entry is free.”

Fortress Sydney

Closed until 10:00 AM

Central Park Mall, Level 2/28 Broadway, Chippendale NSW 2008, Australia

“Thank you Fortress Sydney for throwing an emaculate NYE party! The staff were amazing, the atmosphere was sick, and each themed area was awesome. The whole place is set up on 2 levels, and the bar was definitely a place to visit! A big thank you to Jasmine for being an awesome waiter! Her service was amazing, and it made mine and my partner's night that much better 😄”

The Genesian Theatre Company Inc

420 Kent St, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia

“This intimate little theatre right in the heart of Sydney is an absolute gem. The current performance of The Hollows is sensational. Great staging and acting along with a fast paced story 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 …”

Bar Mille
3.9
( 8 reviews ) $$

Ground Floor/100 George St, The Rocks NSW 2000, Australia

“Very cool atmosphere and nice terrace outside, just a shame the view is blocked by the cruise terminal. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The wood fired garlic bread and wood fired pizzas are amazing. So fresh and flavourful. Cocktails are also good and well-made. However, I would not recommend the Ceasar salad at all. Basically a heap of salad leaves with a few bits of bacon and croutons hidden away under a forest of leaves and dressing. Definitely not money's worth. Other than that, though, no complaints whatsoever. Can confidently recommend Bar Mille for a casual lunch or night out.”
