Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience
4.7
( 8 reviews )

6240 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612, United States

“It was spell-binding and meditative. The experience informed, immersed and facilitates the audience to channel Van Gogh in an coloring art experience. Notes to consider in visiting the expo: -Have patience in reading. This is not just an art presentation. You will be reading passages of the life of the artist and the inspiration of the paintings. -Wear comfortable shoes because you will be walking in different rooms. -Taking photos is allowed but don’t use flash. -I suggest going in early like 9-11 AM or in evening where there are less people. -wear something nice :)”

306 S White St, Wake Forest, NC 27587, United States

“This place has a really good atmosphere, is a warehouse with lots of mini shops/Boutiques. They sell clothing, Antiques, candles, beauty products, Vintage artifacts, jewelry, gifts, kids toys, decor, pottery, art studios, souvenirs, etc. They also just offer Metalsmith classes, and have a painting gallery. They host weddings and parties. This building is unique, they kept the bare brick walls and natural wood ceilings making it look and feel more like an Industrial warehouse than a “mini shopping center” during weekdays street free parking (2 hours parking) is not bad at all but during weekends or Holidays/special events is really hard so you have to park few blocks away. Per The Cotton Company feedback to this review, the parking lot on the South side of the building next to the Chamber of Commerce is also available for customers with the exception of town events that shut down S. White Street.”

Jerry's Artarama Retail Stores - Raleigh

“I needed several tubes of acrylic paint and did not have time to order online. An artist friend suggested I route my travel through Raleigh to go to this store, slightly out of the way. But I loved the store and it was well worth the detour. The store was very welcoming from when I first walked in through my shopping and having occasional questions. They helped me decide appropriate options, as they have several options and price points. Their prices were cheaper than I had seen online, even without the member discount. I was happy to use a 20% holiday discount by joining their free loyalty club. The store is clean, including the bathroom, and the shelves were well stocked and organized. They had bags made up for holiday gift kits of various paint and drawing supplies and they were priced too low for me to leave without one. I was replacing supplies that I lost when a kid moved out so I had to get a lot, and I spent about 70% of what I expected to spend. I would have liked to spend another hour there, such a pleasant shopping experience and such nice merchandise.”

“My children had a blast! The place was spotless and well-maintained, the staff was diligently cleaning and disinfecting tables. They attended me on upon arrival. I accidentally left my cell phone behind and they kindly held onto it for three days until I could retrieve it. I appreciated that SOOOOO MUCH!! Like so much!! This place has made evident improvements, and I def recommend for children under 8. I will be back, oh and there’s a pizza hut right next door that they let you order and eat inside the jump place. Enjoy and thanks to the staff, so very much.”
