“Carefully put together collection of New Orleans history! A street car named Desire pieces are on display here as well as one of the last functioning home organs in America! They have an interactive map when you walk in that has a free downloadable app for walkable DIY tour routes of the city for various things! (Movie locations/ famous people/drinking tours etc..) There's an excavated well in the center courtyard that shows you the water level in NOLA in real time! Gift Shop was full of handmade pieces from local artists and wasn't just another tourist trap!”

820 St Louis St, New Orleans, LA 70112, United States

“This guided tour was really incredible. We saw the sign for it walking down the street and decided to take a chance- it paid off. We learned more in the hour tour here than anywhere else in NOLA! The tour guide was so kind and informative, taking time to answer all our questions. Learning about the enslaved people of urban NOLA is so important when taking in this city’s history.”

Closed until 06:00 AM

4920 Freret St, New Orleans, LA 70115, United States

“This is a review just of the outdoor bar area; there was no live music on the night I went. Laid-back open-air bar with a trippy vibe, fabulous wall murals, and a good drinks list that covers both the basics and some more complex recipes. Quiet enough for hours of conversation if there's no live music on that night; an excellent hangout spot and would make a worthy local.”

Southern Food And Beverage Museum & Museum Of The American Cocktail

1504 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70113, United States

“Interesting museum full of historical facts and replicas educating you about the food culture and history of new Orleans. The Popeyes section and Leah chase were my favorites. I think the ticket is overpriced but happy to support this place.”

1132 Royal St, New Orleans, LA 70116, United States

“This historical house truly offers a glimpse into how the wealthy used to live in New Orleans back in the day. The rooms are truly beautiful and ornately decorated I visited during October and the tour was centered around death and burial rituals. The guide was very knowledgeable and because our group was so small we really got to enjoy all of the rooms. Definitely worth a visit”

( 8 reviews )

300 N Claiborne Ave, New Orleans, LA 70112, United States

“This cemetery had just closed when my group arrived so we did not get to get a tour. We took photos through the gates and a local gave us information about how and why they bury the deceased this way. We discovered a few ladies were trapped inside. They didn't realized the cemetery closed at 3pm. People in my group climbed over the wall to help them out. They were relieved- especially when it was 93 degrees this day.”
