Apsley House
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 11:00 AM

149 Piccadilly, London W1J 7NT, United Kingdom

“Really beautiful house and the closest you can get to how the duke of Wellington lived and how the battle of Waterloo played a role in history. Only the ground floor and 1st floor are open, and the entire tour will take about an hour or two at a stretch. Beautiful painting and art collected inside. Pricing for entry tickets is on the higher side considering how much time you can spend here/no of rooms. Worth a visit if you are a history lover and want to get a step closer to how one of the richest people in England once lived.”

Kiln Theatre
4.6
( 8 reviews )

269 Kilburn High Rd, London NW6 7JR, United Kingdom

“Sam Tutty and Dujonna Gift put on an absolutely amazing performance in Two Strangers Carry a cake across New York. At first glance you would think such a small production wouldn’t rival the bigger names on the West End. But everything from the performance to the live music was amazing. The script was comedic and lively and the actors just brought everything to life. The last show is in end of January and I definitely recommend watching this musical. Absolutely amazing and is a worthy contender with cheaper tickets to the other bigger names on Broadway”

606 Club
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 12:30 PM

90 Lots Rd, London SW10 0QD, United Kingdom

“The visit was intended to be watching the live performance of a jazz ensemble while f&b was considered secondary. Apart from the decent sounding acoustics of the venue, food turned out to be a pleasant surprise too. The tables are placed close to each other to understandably maxmise floor space but the feelings of being packed are the last to be felt. An incredible place to enjoy a meal with great music.”

Run by volunteers with profits going to a charity in South Africa, the cosy, local Cinema is welcoming and warm with a brilliant bar. Don't tell too many people .... And you can hire the sign for special messages!!! We love the Lexi.”

Barbican Conservatory
4.6
( 10 reviews )

Silk St, London EC2Y 8DS, United Kingdom

“Visited on a Friday night with tickets for 18:30. Lots of people queued up to go inside as the doors opened but the wait wasn’t too long. Booked the tickets in advance (free entry and option for discounted barbican tote bag). Beautiful conservatory - would love to go more often. There is a bar inside”

Regent Street Cinema
4.6
( 10 reviews )

307 Regent St., London W1B 2HW, United Kingdom

“This cinema had long been on my list and I finally visited during their Xmas season where tickets were amazingly priced at £10 each- bargain for central London. There isn't hot food on offer but there is a full bar, plenty of hot drinks to choose from and a variety of snacks, including sweets, popcorn and chocolate. The cinema screening itself felt more like going to watch a West End show due to the style of the theatre. Great experience and friendly staff!”

The Royal Geographical Society ( With Ibg )
4.6
( 16 reviews )

1 Kensington Gore, South Kensington, London SW7 2AR, United Kingdom

“I am judging this venue entirely due to how userfriendly it is as a supplier. I DO love a loading bay. And this one could not be more convenient. Right behind the venue which is still on an easily accessible main road next to Hyde Park. The room that gets used for dinners is literally just inside the door of the loading bay. So when you have candelabra and large floral displays to handle, this could not be more convenient. Staff if friendly and the collection arrangements were flexible and agreeable to all. Thank you for having us. We would very much love to return”

Dark Sphere
4.5
( 8 reviews )

186 Hercules Rd, London SE1 7LD, United Kingdom

“Friendly staff and good facilities. Has an extremely active Magic the Gathering scene, as well as a few regular D&D groups. War gaming is also present here, mostly Warhammer 40k, but there are tables to suit most popular games systems. Terrain is laid out for you, and staff do offer to add or remove some as the customer wishes. Good quality gaming mats are also provided for you. The shop has full shelves, and it’s possible to order in Games Workshop products with a generous discount. Other makers are available on site, but I’m not massively familiar with them. Loses some points, but it’s not doom and gloom. - Being in a train arch, the sound of passing carriages can make it hard to hear conversation sometimes, but if you’re a regular you may not even realise the sound anymore. - Wargaming tables don’t have much space around them. Chairs are provided to put bags and books but it’s far from ideal. You’ll be standing butt to butt with other gamers on some days. - Probably the worst point; the loo - it is kept clean so the toilet itself is not the issue. However, the door does not have any closing mechanism and the reek can then waft over the war gaming tables without mercy. Patrons sometimes forget to close the door after they are finished and so the misery is shared to all in attendance. Could be a nod to Nurgle by a fan... Overall, a nice play to play a few games with friends, and then pick up new pieces for the next time you wish to play.”

Kenneth More Theatre

( 8 reviews )

Oakfield Rd, Ilford IG1 1BT, United Kingdom

“We saw Peter Pan Panto. It was amazing! We have seen many pantos at a range of venues and this is now my new favourite. The cast come out into to audience. Very interactive. Cheap tickets, cheap refreshments and clean toilets. Highly recommend.”

Bentley Priory Museum
4.7
( 10 reviews )

Mansion House Drive, Stanmore HA7 3FB, United Kingdom

“I visited with my family on a Saturday afternoon. The museum was pristine, it is the cleanest and well developed museum I have been to recently, and I've been to a lot of museums. I was very impressed by every member of staff, they were very polite and welcoming from the moment we stepped in the door. Each member of staff were very knolegable about the history. The museum was very engaging for children and adults. I loved the film at the start. Thank you for a great day.”

Chelsea Bridge
4.4
( 8 reviews )

Chelsea Bridge Rd, London SW3 4SL, United Kingdom

“Chelsea Bridge has some great views, especially if Battersea Power Station (Southeast) and Battersea park (Southwest). I suggest going at night when the bridge is lit up when it looks really special, although quite a few of the lights don’t work / haven’t been replaced by the council.”

Lloyd's Of London
