Top 5 Arts & Entertainment in Pennsylvania
1050 Ironpigs Way, Allentown, PA 18109, United States
“Great prices for a family baseball game. Parking is a fair price $5. Did not seem to have a bad seat in the house. All seats seem to have a good view and seem close to the action. There are a good number of food vendors. Food and drink prices are reasonable for entertainment. ($3 for a hotdog, $4 for fries, sodas $3-4 for fountain drinks, $10 for beer and mixed drinks). Things to be aware of: there is no mayonnaise in the park. If you order a chicken sandwich or mix mayo for fries or other items, you will be disappointed. The fozen yogurt is weighed and charged by the pound (weight, not English currency). Lines are super long before the game, there could be better ways to be checked out or order food/refreshments. Lines get held up by cashiers having to enter coupons/food vouchers and discounts by hand. I thought it was a great experience and would plan an additional trip.”

“What a great time with the family. The food was fun and reasonable for a baseball park. Lots of vendors and lines moved quickly. There is plenty of fun between innings, too. If they are doing fireworks, then you really need to go.”

“Baldwin's Book Barn is a literary haven tucked away in the heart of West Chester. The historic setting in a dairy barn adds to the charm, and the collection of rare and used books is a treasure trove for any book enthusiast. The knowledgeable staff and cozy ambiance make each visit a delightful exploration into the world of literature. A must-visit for those seeking the magic of well-preserved stories.”
640 Waterworks Dr, Philadelphia, PA 19130, United States
“I was there for a special event that took place after normal closing. The place has excellent views that overlook the Schuylkill River damn. The food at the event was made onsite -very good. During the day they're aware events and tours. Check it out”

“The oldest operating drive-in. Period. What could be more amazing? Maybe the fact they're open year round AND serve a slammin' vegan hot dog. The new owners are super kind and community-focused, too!”

“This museum is very unique in that it has a lot of interactive exhibits that are different from most places. There are the typical museum displays but then they have other exhibits. There are various “mini” theater experiences as you go through with short videos. They also give you 3d glasses when you enter that can be used all throughout the museum to learn more about what is being interpreted. Then they have a short film that is supplemented with an interactive display throughout the film. Finally, they have an exhibit called The Cellar which is an interactive experience to allow the visitor to see and feel what it might have been like during a battle in the Civil War. It was really fascinating. That all being said, as far as accessibility goes it is mostly accessible. I need a scooter to get around and there were some areas where it was a bit of a challenge. First, the parking is in the back of the building. It was quite a distance to get to the door and the sidewalk was uneven and broken and my scooter got stuck on it. Inside the building is mostly open and the gift shop was a good size. I did have trouble in the theater which was difficult to see where I was going. Overall it was a nice visit with few limitations.”

“Thanks to the museum for hosting my Navy retirement ceremony on April 7, 2023. To say that Angela Tomlin and her staff helped make the event a success is an understatement! The entire museum’s hospitality was incredible. Any/everything we asked of them was handled almost instantly, and Angela and her team were a TREASURE to work with! Everyone in attendance were astounded by the 3rd floor ballroom, and I’m still beyond humbled for the privilege.”

“We love this place. In October we always go to trunk n treat. They play a great mix of movies. My 7 year old daughter lives watching movies outside.”

“I took grandkids, ages 5 &7, on Dec.27. They loved this climbing bridge a LOT. There were many activities for younger to older children, both fun and educational. We spent about 2.5 hours there, but the kids would have climbed more if we had time. A great indoor experience, would definitely go back. $12 very reasonable.”

“We had a wonderful time during the Christmas Trolley Ride with Santa. The new museum is incredibly sleek and modern with amazing pieces of history inside. Staff is knowledgeable and happy to answer questions and share information. We can't wait to come back and explore more!”
