“A hexagonal fortification built by Portuguese as their costal battery to keep their cannons. Cellular barracks of gunners also were there, but has lost in the wake of time. Now it is well maintained by Archeological Survey Department and preserved as a heritage site. The access to the site is a little bit small and there are no dedicated parking spaces.”

An exclusive gallery for the winners of painting competition from around the world is awesome. There needs to be more facilities for sitting as there are no chairs available outside. It appears a lack of advertising that is not attracting people to this place. There is parking available for 4-5 cars inside. The bigger vehicles can be parked outside.”

The Dokra metal figurines are awesome . All sign-boards are very helpful . The Museum also honours the scholars who have researched and written about Kerala folk culture by exhibiting their photos . The museum is in one wing of the Chirakkal palace .”
