4, Safdar Hashmi Marg, Todermal Road Area, Mandi House, New Delhi, Delhi 110001, India

“Have been a regular here and have watched several plays. This is one beautiful place nestled in the heart of Delhi. Easily accessible with Mandi House metro station just walking distance away. If you like watching plays, you can visit here and there will be some show or the other on most days. It's good to see these arts centres thriving in today's time as well. Watching play here is a fine experience and I feel people should experience it at least once. There is a small cafeteria as well and you get fast food at decent rates. You may have to look around for car parking as the area is mostly full.”

“Diwan-i-Am or the 'Hall of public audience', was the place where Shah Jahan (A.D.1628-58) received the general public and heard their grievances. With a courtyard in the front, it was originally surrounded by arcaded apartments used by chiefs (Umaras) on duty. With an impressive façade of nine engrailed arch openings, the hall was ornamented with gilded stucco work. In the centre of the eastern wall, stands a marble canopy covered by a Bengal roof, under which was placed the Emperor's throne. A marble dais below the throne, inlaid withsemi precious stones, was used by the Wazir (Prime Minister) for receiving petitions. Behind the canopy, the wall is decorated with beautiful panels inlaid with multi-colored stones (pietra dura work), representing flowers and birds, said to have been executed by Austin de Bordeaux, a Florentine jeweller.”

“I attended the recent workshop by Shehzaan Khan. It was amazing, the choreography and vibe was amazing. It was a 2 hours long workshop without any breaks. I dance my heart out, learned alot from my mistakes. It was me going out of my comfort zone. Being an amateur/ non- dancer I couldn't catch the steps but the experience of being in dance class with big energy was fabulous. So definately a must try. And even the dancer, Shehzaan Khan was really polite and was trying his best to make everyone feel comfortable. He interacted and made us all feel welcomed. So even if you don't know dance like me, but love dancing. Dare yourself to go and attend such challenging workshops.”
