“I absolutely love the Escape Experience at GTFO, they have the kindest staff, and it made for a really great experience. I’ve taken my cousins twice this year and we’ve loved it both times! The first time we did the Heist and I think we had a little more fun because we beat it (it was the easier option) and then we did the Visiting Hour room which was a bit difficult, but still very fun! The latter time we went, there was no one after us, so they let us have a little extra time to finish the room. I really felt that this made our experience much better than other spots in the city as we didn’t leave feeling frustrated and curious! All in all, I’d definitely recommend going to GTFO, and you get a cute picture taken at the end!”

“We played the Carnival and the Chaos Theory room and both were very good. We liked how well thought out each room was and how the puzzles connected. The scare actors were great and we signed up for the free membership as we definitely want to come back to complete the other rooms. For the price and value this is definitely a fun activity to do with friends and family. Hope they bring Trapped Escapes rooms to the US like New Jersey/New York.”

“Amazing selection, so well organized, the guy is super nice and helpful and great prices! Will definitely be back when I'm back in Edmonton. Thanks so much for your help and the bag was perfect to keep records safe on the plane ride home.”

“Beautiful Hall, second time already attending to this location, and no complaints at all. The staff is always welcoming and nice. Visited for two different venues and it worked perfectly.”

“I attended an almost sold out concert at this venue last evening and I was very impressed with my experience. Parking is plentiful and well maintained. The facility was very clean and had a nice flow. Concession prices were in line with many other event facilities and selection was great. I would make a request that zero-alcohol cocktail options be added in the future. The theater itself is elegant and intimate with very comfortable seating. Staff was very accommodating and freindly. This is a venue that I will seek to attend as often as I am intrigued by the performances. BTW, I saw The Trews with Bleeker as the opener. I'm still riding high on the energy!”

“We did the train heist room and it was great. Not too difficult but we were also a larger group and we’ve done escape rooms before. This is our second time at locked room- first time at this location. The outside is a little confusing but once you know where to go it’s fine! Would recommend going here”

“The Esker Foundation is worth visiting. Free in these days to go and enjoy the art. Some clips captured from nature give cool feelings and peace of mind. It is on the fourth floor, space available for parking. Thanks, Esker Foundation, for such a display!”

“Not bad, was expecting quite a bit more in the building. Exhibits are great, the kids play area outside is quite large and there's plenty of parking.”

“I would not recommend this puzzle room for any first timers. We have done many escape rooms, and we were not impressed with the Frankenstein room. Two of the puzzles was broken, and we were warned that one of them might not be working. We wasted around 10-15 min doing the correct sequence before asking for help and clarification. One of the puzzles opened up earlier than anticipated, and we received the reward. Despite this we thought we had to continue working on the puzzle, and were confused as to what progression was unlocked. There was a matching game that required patience to complete, as hitting the buttons too quickly seemed to fail the series - with no real indication on whether we were completing it correctly. The puzzles themselves seemed to be in a series, which no apparent concurrent activities. The puzzles didn’t appear to have a flow either, as in we did not know which direction to go. All we were aware of is that we required keys and a few codes, but then nothing to indicate where you would get these from. I will give credit where credit was due: the place was very clean and looked aesthetically pleasing. The staff are very friendly and understanding (even pausing the timer when staff had to come in and fix one of the puzzles).”

“Staff were awesome, drinks well priced. Small venue so arrive in line a little early or as we did, reserved a table. No food that I noticed but wasn't there for supper anyway. Lots of smaller name bands and d groups go through there so keep your ears and eyes peeled for jems.”
