Maniax Axe Throwing - Adelaide
4.9
( 10 reviews )
Open until 09:00 PM

1 Light Terrace, Thebarton SA 5031, Australia

“This was my first time trying axe throwing and absolutely loved it. You get a lesson on correct throwing techniques by one of the lovely staff and a safety talk as well. Then they watch as you throw some axes and fine tune your technique and position. Then you get to use 3 different size axes and try hitting the target for the next 50 minutes 🙂 It's so fun and me and my friends had a great time. The beers they serve here taste so good and refreshing and the pizzas we had tasted fresh and tasty. Can't wait to go back again 😍”

South Australian Aviation Museum

( 16 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

16 Bedford St, Port Adelaide SA 5015, Australia

“My dad and I went in with rather little in the way of expectations but were amazed by the size and quality if the collections here. Far more aircraft than you would think could fit in the hangars including several you can walk inside and some you can even sit in the cockpit. Lots of informative displays, artwork from very talented local artists as well as plenty of staff around more than happy to delve into the history of a particular article. The front desk staff were also fabulous, gave us a very helpful guide to the museum along with some recommendations on what to look out for. Even if you're not an aviation history buff I would still recommend a visit you can spend a morning quite pleasantly just walking around.”

Wallis Cinema Mitcham
4.4
( 16 reviews ) $$

Mitcham Shopping Centre, Level 1/119 Belair Rd, Torrens Park SA 5062, Australia

“Went to the cinemas yesterday to see a movie around 2:40pm, initially there was no one at the desk so we queued where the signage was. We were then 'greeted' by one of the rudest ladies I have ever met!!!! I believe her name was Lois, before even speaking she made it known that our buying tickets was an inconvenience for her. She asked what tickets we were after, we are both students and I provided my physical card, whilst my friend used facial recognition and got her entire university id up with name etc. This lady was clearly not aware of such advances in technology that allowed people to verify things with their phones. Stating this wasn't good enough, you need to bring your card (in a modern world where people do not bring more than their phones and keys everywhere), and that 'oh well looks like you'll have to pay full price' with a huge sarcastic tone. I tried to offer solutions regarding showing a licence with her photo and name to verify this was the same as the login. However, Lois snapped back with 'well we don't need to muck around and waste time doing that' (even though she had just waisted much of our time debating). She was then very rude and short with choosing our seats. Overall, HORRIBLE customer service I have never felt so belittled by a staff member, will not be returning to this cinema!!!!”

Gu Film House Adelaide
4.5
( 16 reviews )

10b/128 Hindley St, Adelaide SA 5000, Australia

“Great movie theatre with new and well-maintained facilities. Very comfortable and clean seats. Amazing sound systems, which is expected from all Event-affiliated cinema. I usually pay a bit more for Vmax screen, which is amazing. They also have family saver prices and some great deals in the afternoon.”

Kensington Road Lookout

Migration Museum
4.4
( 10 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

82 Kintore Ave, Adelaide SA 5000, Australia

“Interesting, but frankly, it would be very great to have more historical, museum-suitable, content rather than emotional memorabilia.”

Jamfactory
4.7
( 8 reviews )

19 Morphett St, Adelaide SA 5000, Australia

“I’m really enjoying learning pottery here, there are also furniture making, jewellery making and glass blowing among other subjects. The shop has a wonderful variety of art for purchase from the many artists who have studio space here. There is also a regular exhibition, the current exhibition is First Nations pottery and art work, which is utterly beautiful.”

The Regal Theatre
4.4
( 10 reviews )

275 Kensington Rd, Kensington Park SA 5068, Australia

“We went to see Tina simply the best. We sat in stalls so it was very easy to access with a walker. You would have a great view from any seat in the theatre! The show was absolutely fantastic and if you closed your eyes you would think it was Tina herself. Great prices too. Will definitely go back there for another show organised by Marcus Hamence!”

X-golf Marion

“An excellent venue for both golf enthusiasts or those just wanting a fun day out. The simulators provide a realistic golf experience if you want to play a round or improve your game as well as fun game modes for those looking for something less serious. If the full simulators are not your thing, it may be time to challenge your friends on the mini-golf course! Full bar and food services are available and staff are super friendly and helpful.”
