( 16 reviews )
Closed until 09:00 AM

532 N 7th St, Philadelphia, PA 19123, United States

“I had to visit for Halloween. I looked it up first. The house is a mere shell of a building and is not furnished. Only a sketch adorns a wall and that's about it. Still a cool place whether you're a Poe fan or not. One room is set up to the style of a person with means in that time would look like but nothing of Poe's is in the house. 3 stories and a cellar. Very narrow and steep stairs, not for handicap or wheelchairs.”

“I’ve always loved High Street Bakery so when this restaurant opened I knew I had to try it out - expectations were exceeded! Brunch was delicious and visually really pretty, the interior had a lovely & elegant atmosphere. Pastries were delectable as usual, the pistachio croissant was brilliant, and brunch dishes were flavorful and fresh. I want to come here every weekend ❤️”

3237 Amber St, Philadelphia, PA 19134, United States

“This was a really fun experience. My girlfriend and I chose the retro room for our anniversary and I couldn’t be happier with how it went. Andrew guided us through the process (and stepped in to help when needed lol), so everything was smooth. Even for my first time working with a wheel I walked away with a piece I’m incredibly happy with. This is a great spot for date night, to celebrate your anniversary, or really for any special occasion”

Awbury Arboretum
4.7
( 8 reviews )

1 Awbury Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19138, United States

“One of my favorite natural wonders in Philadelphia. They recently renovated the section next to the train station, and the ducks there are so lovely. I also enjoy the bird watching, goats, chickens and bee hives. There are multiple working farms, private gardens, joyous fauna and wildlife. They often host events and educational workshops for the community, I keep up with them on IG. It’s really an amazing space for all ages to enjoy.”

Passed appetizers, station appetizers, passed dinner items, station dinner items, dessert and late night snacks. Some highlights were. Homemade onion dip Served with gaufrettes, shrimp cocktail, fried cheese curds, beef tenderloin with peppercorn sauce, gluten free fried chicken, Mac n cheese, basil pesto pasta, Chocolate chip cookies And late night snacks- French fires, Buffalo wings. All the Staff was exceptional especially bartenders Angie and Drew; and servers Fall and Colin. Enjoyed the outdoor space with big games and patio lights, beer garden. Inside was a cool industrial space with great party/dance lighting. Highly recommend for a fun wedding venue or event and would definitely come here for dinner.”

On the downside, sadly you can't touch/hold any books, some sections closed off since COVID, and there used to be a Maurice Sendak collection that is no longer present. Historical marker outside the museum. Only $5 admission with a student ID.”
