“Chattar Manzil Or Umbrella Palace is a building which served as a palace for Nawabs and their wives of Lucknow. Chattar Manzil situated on the banks of Rover Gomti near Qaiserbagh and Hazratganj. Its Mughal architecture design is very eye pleasing even nowadays when it becomes a ruined structure. It was constructed by order of Nawab Ghaziuddin Haider and completed after his death by his successor, Nawab Nadiruddin Haider. The Chattar Manzil consisted of a Bari (larger) Chattar Manzil and Chhoti (smaller) Chattar Manzil, however only the larger one still exists. The Palace has gone through many owners including the Nawabs of Awadh Saadat Ali Khan and Wajid Ali Shah, and the Britishers and changes since its construction was started in the 1780s. It's not a very great sight to go to but if you have enough time in lucknow you can visit.”

“Awesomazing!!! I loved the place so much, it was super spooky buy still. I wonder why the hell its prohibited to go there. Also, i saw a huge spectacled cobra there... It is also said that a female spirit is seen at night, which slides down the stairs and jumps into the nearby lake. The story attached to this place is very spooky, and you cannot ignore them as the paranormal spirits will make you realize their presence every time. The Butler Palace is a four-faceted palace with a stellar architecture and it is the only monument in Lucknow to be built in this way. Since, the palace was shut down in 2009, it has become a ruin. Wild flora everywhere! Wish i could go back in time and see its real beauty.”

“It's an old single screen theatre which got renovated and now looks completely different from inside. Exterior of the famous Sahu theatre is still the same. Interior is redesigned and looks amazing. It's a must visit. Drawback - 1) Gents and ladies washrooms are on a different floor! 2) stairs inside theatre to reach the seat are too high for elderly and it's really uncomfortable 3) Way too many ads”

“Average experience at this cinema Hall was neat Sound and viewing experience was good Hall was big but all the seats are at ground level no terracing seats I opted for recliners which costs 250/- rupees Seats were comfortable and in good condition First time I saw aaloo patty being sold in the theatre which costs 60/- and coke was for 120/- Very average experience”
