Top 4 Arts & Entertainment in Ulster County

Levon Helm Studios
4.8
( 10 reviews )

160 Plochmann Ln, Woodstock, NY 12498, United States

“What a unique and special music venue. Levon Helm Studios has a deep history within the music industry and it is well known and loved by musicians. If you are lucky enough to have a band you like book this venue on their tour, don't pass it up! It is an intimate music experience that you will not want to miss. We were there to see the Paper Kites in October of 2023. My 11yr olds favorite band and first concert. Our seats were "obstructed" the back two rows in the balcony can make it difficult to see while sitting, as the sound board is in view. The staff upgraded us to the BEST seats in the house, so my daughter could see. So amazingly thoughtful and kind of them! I am definitely joining their mailing list to stay on top of who's playing there and when, so as not to miss a favorite musician who might be visiting this venue.”

Widow Jane Mine
4.7
( 16 reviews )

668 NY-213, Rosendale, NY 12472, United States

“This is really cool. Not too many mines that are free. There was almost no one there when we went. We didn't go in very far because there was a lot of water. Not sure if it's always like that or if that's from all the rain. Either way, highly recommend.”

Rosendale Theatre
4.6
( 10 reviews )

408 Main St, Rosendale, NY 12472, United States

“Got to see the 1964 Japanese Toho Classic Mothra vs. Godzilla! What made it even better was seeing it with my son Jake, who grew up watching the Japanese versions of Godzilla and Gamera before he could walk and talk! Lol And this theatre had beer, and not just any beer, but Local Hudson Valley beer from Chatham, NY. We had the Pilsner. There is nothing like seeing a classic film like this with people who are into it as much as you. There was a pre-movie warm-up with audience participation of the Blue Öyster Cult song Godzilla, that really set the tone for me as I'm a huge fan of the band, and then there was an interesting trivia about the US version of the film release as it was it call Godzilla vs The Thing here! All in All I had a terrific time and will definitely check out the theater again soon!”

Ulster County Fairgrounds
4.5
( 8 reviews )
Open until 10:00 PM

249 Libertyville Rd, New Paltz, NY 12561, United States

“Sprawling complex featuring all sorts of rides for children and adults. There are also many games, some more permanent than temporary. The carnies are friendly and helpful. Huge parking lot, so if you arrive late, then expect a long walk to the fairgrounds unless you can catch one of the "truck taxis" which whisks visitors to and fro. Bathrooms clean and sizable. For 2021's county fair, the Ulster County Libertarian Party erected a stall.”
