“I received the horseshoe knife class as a birthday gift. The class was taught by Nick. What a great way to spend a few hours learning how to craft a knife from a horseshoe and use your hands to make something useful. The resulting knife …”

1411 21st Ave, Seattle, WA 98122, United States

“Best place ever! Drinks are wonderful, food is outstanding! Cheese curds! Bbq cauliflower! Amazing pizza! Great beer selection. Such a gem of a place, it’s me and my husband’s go to date night spot and has been for 15 years. This place is just the gold standard of community friendly Capitol Hill spots. Never leave us.🤙❤️”

Act Theatre

700 Union St, Seattle, WA 98101, United States

“I *love* this theater. A Christmas Carol is my favorite every year — especially as my daughter is in the cast this year. Every seat is a great seat with full close views of the theater in-the-round. The front-row seats have their feet in the stage, which creates such a wonderful intimacy.”

“We had a great time blowing glass for the first time here! It was super hands on and we enjoyed learning about the process and making our own ornaments! We’ll keep them forever! Such a great present to receive! Illus was the best instructor with a great balance of teaching and actual hands on glass blowing. Would recommend him and the Seattle Glassblowing Studio to anyone!”

“One of those pinch yourself moments. How cool to be able to actually step into the KEXP building and nerd out on the music there!! There is a great cafe, a record shop, lounge area where you can listen to the music and there was also a really neat exhibit on Death Cab for Cutie, a Seattle institution”

Seattle Asian Art Museum

Closed until 10:00 AM

1400 E Prospect St, Seattle, WA 98112, United States

“Huge variety of asian arts. There are even a few interactive parts too! Every piece was so beautiful and it was located in such a beautiful park as well. It is kind of located next to this big ugly pond that looks a bit out of place but if you turn you back you will be so mesmerized by how beautiful the surrounding area is. The staff are so nice and directed us towards lockers (free) to store our stuff. The museum is designed intuitively so you know where to walk next. The whole building is architecturally beautiful and pleasing. The best part of museums is looking through the gift shop but unfortunately the gift shop here is just a small corner. Nonetheless a beautiful museum!”

Siff Cinema Egyptian
4.7
( 8 reviews )

805 E Pine St, Seattle, WA 98122, United States

“It's so nice to have this landmark theatre in the heart of Capitol Hill. It's old school, without all the bells and whistles of stadium or reclining seats in a screening room. This place has more of a Cinema Paradiso feel, and you'll be surrounded by people who want to watch good movies... and not their phones.”

Admiral Theater

( 8 reviews )

2343 California Ave SW, Seattle, WA 98116, United States

“Absolutely magnificent place to host a party. We rented a theater out to have our son’s birthday party and watch Mario with his friends. The manager was beyond gracious helping us get set up and making it a really special event for everyone. Highly highly recommend.”

Wing Luke Museum
4.7
( 16 reviews )

719 S King St, Seattle, WA 98104, United States

“Went in for the Nobody Lives Here exhibit and joined a tour of the old hotel and shop adjacent. Our guide was excellent and did a good job engaging a quiet group and providing some interesting information. The tour felt immersive and is a must for those interested in Washington and Seattle history. The rest of the museum has some really great art and historical pieces showcasing the vast and diverse Asian American experience. My one piece of feedback on the Nobody Lives Here exhibit is that it was a little text heavy, which was hard to take in fully. I really liked the before and after shots of different areas around Seattle showing 'progress' at the expense of marginalized communities and would have loved to see more.”
