Quail Ridge Books
4.8
( 8 reviews )

4209-100 Lassiter Mill Rd, Raleigh, NC 27609, United States

“Had a great time at Quail Ridge today! My kids adored the children’s area, which was larger than I expected and wonderfully curated. I wish I lived closer and was able to visit more often, but I have now found a new favorite place to stop in when I’m Raleigh. I especially loved the “tribute to authors” walls in the restrooms! My only regret is that I wasn’t able to spend more time exploring.”

Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience
4.7
( 8 reviews )

6240 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612, United States

“It was spell-binding and meditative. The experience informed, immersed and facilitates the audience to channel Van Gogh in an coloring art experience. Notes to consider in visiting the expo: -Have patience in reading. This is not just an art presentation. You will be reading passages of the life of the artist and the inspiration of the paintings. -Wear comfortable shoes because you will be walking in different rooms. -Taking photos is allowed but don’t use flash. -I suggest going in early like 9-11 AM or in evening where there are less people. -wear something nice :)”

Lincoln Theatre
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 04:00 AM

126 E Cabarrus St, Raleigh, NC 27601, United States

“One of my favorite venues in Raleigh. Find a good band to go to and enjoy. Walk right up front and get close to the band to make eye contact. You can really feel the music and the vibe. Easy to step back get a beer take a pee and then get right back into the mix again. Acoustics are great and atmosphere just kills it. I'd much rather go to an event you like this then go to areas like a PNC arena where the acoustics absolutely suck unless you are on the ground floor in a general mission or a pit scenario.”

Cary Arts Center
4.7
( 8 reviews )
Open until 10:00 PM

101 Dry Ave, Cary, NC 27511, United States

“We attended the holiday concert put on by the Cary Town Band. The venue was perfect. Sound quality and viewability of the performers was great. The staff working in the center were kind and helpful.”

Artspace
4.7
( 10 reviews )
Open until 07:00 PM

201 E Davie St, Raleigh, NC 27601, United States

“ArtSpace is an extremely well thought out and executed space for artists of all kinds. There’s something to look at everywhere. Even the building is beautiful and historic. They rotate the exhibits and artist, so you really get an immersive experience every time you visit. The team is extremely welcoming and friendly, and made up of mostly creatives themselves. This is one of the most inspiring places in Raleigh North Carolina.”

Wake County Speedway
4.6
( 10 reviews )

2109 Simpkins Rd, Raleigh, NC 27603, United States

“We went for opening night last spring and had a blast. Hoping to make it out again this year for a race or two. Definitely wish they could have better parking but know land is limited so we suggest getting there early like we did. Also would love a few more food & beverage options but we did enjoy some fried deliciousness 😊 …”

The Cotton Company
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Open until 06:00 PM

306 S White St, Wake Forest, NC 27587, United States

“This place has a really good atmosphere, is a warehouse with lots of mini shops/Boutiques. They sell clothing, Antiques, candles, beauty products, Vintage artifacts, jewelry, gifts, kids toys, decor, pottery, art studios, souvenirs, etc. They also just offer Metalsmith classes, and have a painting gallery. They host weddings and parties. This building is unique, they kept the bare brick walls and natural wood ceilings making it look and feel more like an Industrial warehouse than a “mini shopping center” during weekdays street free parking (2 hours parking) is not bad at all but during weekends or Holidays/special events is really hard so you have to park few blocks away. Per The Cotton Company feedback to this review, the parking lot on the South side of the building next to the Chamber of Commerce is also available for customers with the exception of town events that shut down S. White Street.”

Jerry's Artarama Retail Stores - Raleigh
4.5
( 10 reviews )

3060 Wake Forest Rd, Raleigh, NC 27609, United States

“I needed several tubes of acrylic paint and did not have time to order online. An artist friend suggested I route my travel through Raleigh to go to this store, slightly out of the way. But I loved the store and it was well worth the detour. The store was very welcoming from when I first walked in through my shopping and having occasional questions. They helped me decide appropriate options, as they have several options and price points. Their prices were cheaper than I had seen online, even without the member discount. I was happy to use a 20% holiday discount by joining their free loyalty club. The store is clean, including the bathroom, and the shelves were well stocked and organized. They had bags made up for holiday gift kits of various paint and drawing supplies and they were priced too low for me to leave without one. I was replacing supplies that I lost when a kid moved out so I had to get a lot, and I spent about 70% of what I expected to spend. I would have liked to spend another hour there, such a pleasant shopping experience and such nice merchandise.”

City Of Raleigh Museum

“Looking for a space to host a birthday party, wedding, baby shower, corporate event, or other get together? Look no further! The City of Raleigh Museum is the perfect space! Conveniently located downtown, the venue is in a beautiful historic building. The space is versatile and Lynda the rental manager is an incredible professional who will help you bring your vision to life. She was so helpful, kind, and patient with all of our questions. She made excellent recommendations as we were making decisions for the event that we really appreciated. We will absolutely be back!”

Angel Island Fun Park
4.3
( 10 reviews )
Open until 06:00 PM

924 NE Maynard Rd, Cary, NC 27513, United States

“My children had a blast! The place was spotless and well-maintained, the staff was diligently cleaning and disinfecting tables. They attended me on upon arrival. I accidentally left my cell phone behind and they kindly held onto it for three days until I could retrieve it. I appreciated that SOOOOO MUCH!! Like so much!! This place has made evident improvements, and I def recommend for children under 8. I will be back, oh and there’s a pizza hut right next door that they let you order and eat inside the jump place. Enjoy and thanks to the staff, so very much.”
