Top 4 Arts & Entertainment in Arlington County

Smithsonian National Museum Of African Art
4.7
( 8 reviews )
Open until 05:30 PM

950 Independence Ave SW, Washington, DC 20560, United States

“World class museum focusing on african art, ancient through present day. In one room expect to see a leather mask from the late 1800s and in another a video art project from a Ghanaian living in the UK featuring the George Floyd incident. This is a thought provoking area where you can visit multiple times without seeing everything. There are regularly scheduled tours, which are very informative and help interpret some of the more complex pieces - check the website before you head out for times.”

Military Women's Memorial

( 8 reviews )
Open until 05:00 PM

Memorial Ave, Schley Dr, Arlington, VA 22202, United States

“I've visited the this memorial many times over the past 7 years that I have lived in the DC area, but this was the first time my husband had joined me for a visit. We took the metro to Arlington as that is the easiest way to visit both Arlington National Cemetery and the Militay Women's Memorial. Once through security at the cemetery main entrance, it is a short walk to the memorial building. Once inside we were warmly greeted by a couple ladies who asked if we had visited before and if we needed assistance finding anything. I am a member of the non-profit that assists with funding the memorial and registered woman military member; so I am very familiar with the building, but it was still nice to have someone point out exhibits that had changed since my last visit and welcome my husband to this beautiful space dedicated to women's service in the US military. I'm glad we came and we will comeback again soon. Thank you.”

Escape Room Arlington
4.9
( 8 reviews )
Open until 10:00 PM

2301 Columbia Pike suite c, Arlington, VA 22204, United States

“We have tried many escape rooms before but Escape Room Arlington definitely is one of our best experiences. We were so impressed with Mind trap that we came back the next day to try Supervillain. Both rooms were well-designed with a good mix of padlocks and magnetic locks. The puzzles were clever, non-linear, challenging but not unreasonably difficult. The stories flowed very well, especially with the Mind trap room. Staff were very friendly and helpful as well. We managed to escape both rooms and had a fantastic time! We look forward to coming back and trying the other 2 rooms :)”
