“The Alchemist escape room is simply amazing. From the moment you step in, you're transported into a magical world where every little detail adds to the overall experience. It's hands down the best escape room I've ever tried. The room design is like a work of art, blending mystery and fantasy seamlessly. The puzzles aren't just challenges; they're part of a exhilarating story. It feels like you're on a journey, with every object and symbol leading you to unravel a captivating mystery. The puzzles are just right – not too hard, not too easy. They're creative and diverse, so everyone in the team can get involved. Teamwork is key, and each puzzle contributes to the bigger picture. The creators really went all out to make sure you have a memorable experience. The atmosphere, sound effects, and visuals all work together to make you feel like you're in a different world. It's not just about getting out of a room; it's about going on a magical adventure.”
Leidseplein, 1017 PT Amsterdam, Netherlands
“Nice square with a lot of restaurants and bars. Has more to do than dam square in my opinion, and not as crowded. The square was built In 1660, and its name was taken from the gate which stood there until 1862 and was the gate from which people arrived from thet city of Leiden. Interestingly, The original reason for the construction of the square was to be a parking place for the carriages of those who arrived to the city”
Meibergdreef 15, 1105 AZ Amsterdam, Netherlands
“I was excited to visit this museum since I first heard of it. Specimens are fascinating and unique. They invoke a mix of emotions when you see them. But I would like to say that there should be small version of prospect/brochure that you can carry around with you so if you are interested more than just superficially you can easily see what each specimen represents. At the end of the visit you just return it at the front desk. Lovely ladies that work there found temporary solution for this yesterday but in a long term I think something should be changed. And it would be also useful to point out somewhere next to the price list on the page that it's a bit cold inside. All in all great museum. I am looking forward to read your book 📖”
Zuiderkerkhof 72, 1011 WB Amsterdam, Netherlands
“Beautiful venue for events, high ceilings. I was there at a Fashion show. Don’t know if it is generally open but for rent for events must be great.”
Stadhouderskade 63, 1072 AD Amsterdam, Netherlands
“What to say? The most art store, art store I have ever visited? Yes. The best most knowledgeable staff in an art store... yes. All the best. All my Amsterdam souvenirs... yes.”
Ceintuurbaan 338, 1072 GN Amsterdam, Netherlands
“We watched an impressive impactful movie here as part of the World Cinema Amsterdam movie event: Seven Winters in Tehran. It's great to have film theaters like Rialto that give room for purpose- driven non commercial stories that give food for thought and conversation afterwards. The theater looks authentic old as and cosy. The rooms are medium size. Nothing too fancy. But our movie made sure you don't need or miss any of that.”
Aambeeldstraat 24, 1021 KB Amsterdam, Netherlands
“A very friendly place, with a pleasant atmosphere and an open terrace by the water, weather permitting. Wide choice of beers and goods, with the option of eating in. The GC Hyena also offers a cinema, showing recent and old films, as well as event organization. The team is professional and pleasant”
Elandsgracht 109, 1016 TT Amsterdam, Netherlands
“I didn’t expect it to be so big inside, there’s so much to see! Everything is very well organized and clean. Definitely worth the visit, even if you just want to have a look around!”
Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal 78, 1012 SE Amsterdam, Netherlands
