“We purchased expensive front row center seats for Coco movie with live orchestra. This facility didn’t indicate these were seats with obstructed view. Could not see the characters or the subtitles. See the photo below, this was our view, the people next to us left during intermission. I wrote the theatre and never received any kind of reply. Tells me what kind of folks run this operation.”

“Great wine! Great food! Great view! The sangria is amazing. Really good wine. The tomahawk chicken melted my brain. I am not normally one to eat chicken (I’m a beef guy), but this… this masterpiece just blew my mind. It is something I will be craving for a long time. So good. Thinking about getting a membership.”

The museum itself is beautifully designed and modern, with spacious galleries that showcase a remarkable collection of fossils, artifacts, and exhibits. The layout is well thought out, allowing visitors to explore at their own pace and delve into the rich history of the region. One of the highlights of my visit was the massive "Max", a perfectly preserved mastodon skeleton that dominates the main hall. It's truly awe-inspiring to stand next to such a majestic creature from the past. The level of detail and care put into the display is commendable, providing a fascinating glimpse into the world of paleontology. From digging for fossils in the simulated excavation site to the engaging educational programs, there's something to engage and educate everyone. It's an excellent opportunity for children and adults alike to learn about the natural history of the area in an entertaining and accessible way. The staff at the museum are knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about their work. They are always ready to answer questions, share interesting facts, and make your visit a memorable one. Their enthusiasm for the subject matter is infectious and adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the overall experience. Lastly, I must mention the museum's commitment to community engagement. 2nd Street Cinema
4.4
( 8 reviews )

1491 E 2nd St, Beaumont, CA 92223, United States

“The seats are very plush, comfortable and recline like a La-Z-boy recliner. The decor is modern and sleek. The popcorn was okay. There was nothing fancy on the menu. It just had the typical movie theater food options. I did not try anything because, meh, so I can't comment on it. I would've liked the volume in the theater to be a little higher (i don't like hearing another movie when I'm watching my own) but I know that's a personal preference. Overall, a great addition to the city of Beaumont!”
