4.7
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 06:00 PM

2316, The Alley at Karrivin, Karrivin Plaza, 1231 Chino Roces Ave Ext, Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines

“This dining experience was quite intriguing. Many of the dishes showcased locally sourced Filipino ingredients, and there was a variety of desserts to enjoy. The price is on the higher side at ₱4900, plus a service fee. It's worth noting that some of the soups and dishes tended to be on the sour side, which might not be to everyone's taste, especially for those with a preference for Chinese flavors. The meal took quite a while; we started at 8 pm and didn't finish until almost 11:30 pm, making it a lengthy dining affair. It's not easy to categorize the food as exceptionally delicious, but it does offer a unique taste of Filipino creative cuisine, which is a noteworthy experience. Additionally, the ambiance was lovely, with each table having its own dedicated server who provided introductions and engaged with the diners, enhancing the interactive aspect of the meal.”

“Food is alright, not something to eave about, they have wide selections of different cuisine, and desserts. The japanese makis and sushis are alright. They taste like the grocery store sushi. Tempura batter is soso. Drinks are included except for bottled water. Staff very courteous and helpful. Roast beef is blunt. Korean japjae is good as well as the garlic parmesan wings.”

Open until 10:00 PM

8809 Sampaloc, Makati, 1203 Kalakhang Maynila, Philippines

“The restaurant is quite spacious. It specializes in beef soup (kansi). The base for kansi is sinigang, so it is a sour beef soup. I ordered the kansi bulalo (shank) and kansi laman (shredded meat). Both tasted refreshing and strong beef flavor. There’s a sauce and chili to dip the beef for extra flavor. It is a must to eat this with rice. In total i spent around PHP 500. Highly recommend to try unique filipino dish. Maybe eat at night when the weather is not too hot to eat soup.”

“Had a 10 course food and wine pairing dinner with colleagues. My expectations were high considering that this restaurant once landed in the top 50 best restaurants in Asia. I liked how they elevated the Filipino favorites and added their own unique twist to it. Not all dishes were a winner for me though, as some were out of balance. For example, the sauce on their wagyu steak was too sour and it affected my appreciation of the meat. Let’s just say that some local flavors are not suited for haute cuisine. Service also seemed hurried and inconsistent. Some of the staff seemed to be just mouthing off the description of the dishes and the wine. But overall it was still a great experience and I would still recommend this place for those looking to experience Filipino gastronomy.”

“My first time in this place, I thought it was just another normal pop-up samgyupsal place. They serve unlimited pork, beef, and chicken slices. The side dishes also include the usual, and a huge portion of steamed egg and kimchi tofu stew. Everything is delicious. The service is also 100%. No downtime in refilling your meats and sides. 10/10”

“It takes too long to serve, you will lose your appetite after waiting. The water pitcher still has bubbles of soap knowing that the price is more expensive compared to other samgyup restaurants. Not everything on the menu will be served yet, you have to look for it, 5-20mins. before serving the next meat, japchae, forgot to serve the tteokbokki hehe, Very poor customer service. ❎❎❎”

“Unlimited Chicken Wings with more than 10 flavors to choose from. At 259 pesos for unli rice and wings it is a fair price. I like how the wings is fried with light batter as you can really taste the chicken, a little salty though. I just personally dont like why some of the wingette and drummettes are not seperated its harder to eat. I commend the fast service though.”

LG 850 Kalayaan Ave, West Rambo, Taguig, 1215 Metro Manila, Philippines

“I love the food. The price is reasonable, the serving is bountiful and it's delicious. The place is noisy which is expected since it's a KTv bar although it would have been better if it's less noisier since we're in a room but it's fine because the rent and the tokens are affordable. The service is okay, It's taking a bit long but understandable since there's quite a number of customers when we got there.”

“Not worth the high prices. Service staff were a bit stiff. No smiles and not a proper welcome. It did get better after we ordered though.. food wasn’t the best but not bad at all. Ordered the salad and vegetables spring rolls, mains were served before the apps.. the table was overpacked with food. Ordered a corona and it was like warm. Want replaced and was still charged. Overall 7/10 they need to work on consistency and timing of service.”

“Totally disappointed, it was different from what we have before. Today, we decided to celebrate in Yakimix due to our previous experience of good quality of food and service, we didn't expect it to be degraded by its quality when it comes to their food and services. Before, the food was of the highest quality and freshness you can get and it will make you fall in love with it, but now, their cooked food, some are bland, some are tough to chew , some are soo salty, one dish is totally spoiled and is already giving a hint of foul odor but still they insisted that it wasn't and it is due to the mushrooms and still serve it, I've been cooking with mushroom for years and I know the food is spoiled because of it or not, some food that you need to cook is not fresh anymore and have a slimy texture but still being serve. The only enjoyable thing to eat there is the desserts. The staff also has an attitude, you tell them the problem discreetly but they'll just give you a fake smile and then when you turn back , they'll murmur something about you like you did a terrible crime against them, a typical Karen attitude, unfortunately for them that I saw them doing that. All in all, it fell from 5 stars to a negative 1 star in my opinion.”

“The location is classy with nice decor and comfortable seats. When we went on a Tuesday, the restaurant was mostly empty, just us and another table having a meal. The food was OK, but felt underwhelming for the price, ie. no sauce given with rice. The staff was pleasant but not attentive, table lacked napkins. The washroom didn't have any paper towels. OK experience overall. Note: there's also a 10% service fee added to bill.”
