“We had dinner last night at Cate Dak. We tried their hand pulled noodles with mushroom and tomato&egg toppings, not the most convenientional choices but that's what we were craving then. The noodles are chewy and tasty, with a good bite to them. But you should definitely try the beef or fried pork noodles, I imagine they'll have a lot mote flavor in the sauce. We also tried their stewed pork burger. It was surprisingly delicious. The bread was a buttery, brioche like bun, it was so tasty! The pork was also well cooked. The staff is very helpful, the service was fast and the atmosphere is nice. The portion sizes are also decent. Overall, I'd recommend for a quick bite if you're around in the neighborhood craving for some noodles.”

“Amazing food. Tonight we went for a meal with my friend and her family I have known for 12 years. From the moment we went in the service was great. I had the 3 course meal for 20euros. Worth every penny and what a great price. I had the fish trio for starter , main was the chicken satay and dessert was the chocolate dream. All was delicious. The best food I have had in a while. Great night and such a lovely clean place. Kirsten and her team are very welcoming. Thankyou guys”

“There was a long queue so I was expecting this place to be good. I ordered the rice cakes for 12€ and this is all that came with it. So little, barely filling. Rice cakes w a few pieces of onion and carrot. Not worth 12€ at all. This pic was taken before I had even started eating. The picture on the menu showed much more than this. Very disappointed by the deception.”

“This place has a nice atmosphere with really super table-service. Also the people behind the grill are friendly and enjoying their job. The food is ok, not bad though also not great. You can fill up on the all-you-can-eat deal or eat a la carte. We did the buffet and were pleasantly surprised by some of the options. Many dishes appear to be very much linked to the Indonesian cuisine I'm very familiar with. Hard to say if the Malaysian dishes should have all tasted the way they did, but we enjoyed them for the most part. Will return here in the future 🙂”

“Woke up in the middle of the night with all symptoms of food poisoning. Sushi took very long to arrive but were tasty. Fried foods tasted strongly of old frying oil. Meats / wok dishes were good. Staff was friendly but inexperienced, and made us slightly uncomfortable. Years ago this was my favourite place to eat, but I will not be coming back since the place is now but a shadow of it's former glory.”

“The food was delicious but the service really disappointed us. When the manager wanted us to order 3 dishes per person at once so they can close the kitchen at 21.00 because of the summer heat (the last round is 21.45 normally), we understood and gave him our orders. However, he only gave us 1 oyster dish instead of 5 like we mentioned to him. When we asked him, he said the kitchen closed and there was no oyster left. If there is no oysters left, we expected him to come after finding that problem and informed us. But there was nothing. I even saw him wrote down 5 oysters on his note, but he acted surprised when we asked for the rest of the oysters. If you want to offer all you can eat, I think it is not fair for customers if they cant order the dish they want multiple times.”

“What a beautiful atmosphere, with kind staff members and great service. I sat at their newly built bar (on my own) and it felt very comfortable, beautifully decorated as well! The waiter was very attentive, suggested a delicious white wine that went beautifully with my mackerel, jalapeño and ponzu dish. It’s really nice that a high-end restaurant can also tailor to those who just want a drink(s) and a small bite(s) to eat/taste if you don’t have time for the whole menu/wine arrangement.”
