“Stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon. There's a happy hour special for half off all alcoholic drinks and a selection of small plates for $5 (about 50-60% off normal price). The pork belly buns are great, especially with the bits of cashew to add a texture element. The spring rolls are filled with a delicious, smooth filling. The Korean fried chicken was super crunchy, spicy, and great. No server, just the bartender, and we sat in a booth outside the bar areas. Nonetheless, he was attentive and answered questions and recommendations from the menu. 10/10 will revisit to try other dishes. Ordered a 5 spice old fashioned- not too different than regular, not tons of 5 spice flavor (it's a 5 spice simple syrup). Would personally have liked to have more 5 spice flavor to really set it apart. Spouse ordered a Malaysian Mule. Similar situations the turmeric simple syrup wasn't as strong to really set the drink off from a regular mule. Still, would go back and try other cocktails (especially during happy hour) to find one that really sets it apart as being unique to Hawkers.”

“My favorite Chinese restaurant in the Chester area. We have been frequenting this place for over a decade. I am happy they have reopened for dining-in after being only carry out since the pandemic. Interior has been updated and remodeled. Ambiance is nice, bright and open. Food is always consistently good and tasty. Texture and flavor of the orange chicken is delectable. The Singapore noodles is my favorite dish to order. I loved the rainbow vegetable mix with fish. As with every other restaurant the prices have went up and the portions are smaller than they used to be. I still recommend this restaurant over the fast food Chinese places because the quality is worth it.”

It says the restaurant is open until 10.30 pm. However they gave us the bill and go to boxes at 8.45 pm and we were still eating, not even halfway done! Kind of pushed us to leave immediately! Spent almost 70 bucks here and couldn’t stay even an hour. A couple ordered after us, the waitress did the same to them too. So if someone wants to visit this place make sure to leave this place before 9! Because they'll rush you up”
