Would recommend the steamed sea bass with lime although it is SPICY (and we’re fairly tolerant to spicy food) despite it being medium spicy on the recommendation of our nice server Roast belly was really good - crispy skin but tender meat with good meat-fat ratio but the highlight was the sauce that came with it - simply amazing concoction of a sauce We tried the plum soup but I’d recommend to skip this as dish portions are generally decent so try another recommended dish instead. We had the tamarind prawn as well which I enjoyed but sauce may be too sweet for some. Restaurant was packed during our visit which made it difficult to get service and attention, spot was mostly for tourists too as we didn’t see any locals but price is reasonable for the food. Would recommend to make advance reservations as tables are limited and there seems to always be a crowd”

If you climb to the 5th floor using stairs, you can enjoy a beautiful view of Wat Arun across the river and its light show. I understand why this place is so popular. The atmosphere, location, and drinks were what I exactly wanted from a rooftop bar. It's worth noting that they do not take a reservation; it's walk-in only. The tables were full when I arrived there at 7pm on 12/24, so I took a seat at the counter. I was totally fine with this and even made a new friend who was sitting right next to me!”

“Worried that their first restaurant would be crowded, I came to their branch in Siam Icon instead. Taking a boat from Wat Pho, which cost me THB 30. It's past lunchtime already. Still, there was a waiting list. Three names before mine. But, not that long to wait. The menu was simple. I decided to give a try to Dried Grinding Squid, Classic Pad Thai Sen-Chan and Pad Thai Sen-Chan with Shrimp Oil wrapped in egg. Dried Grinding Squid was basically similar to dried squid snacks you can find in grocery stores. It came with brown sauce, I did not recognize what it was made from. The sauce tasted sweet, while the squid was a bit savory, almost plain. Texture wise, a bit chewy. The difference between the two pad thais is the classic one had light flavor and looked pale white, unlike most pad thais which were brownish. While the one with shrimp oil appeared pale red in color and had a taste of seafood. The crushed peanuts were not mixed with the noodles like you might find in most pad thais. It should be safe for those who are allergic to peanuts. Both of the pad thais were sweet. At the beginning, the taste was good. But, gradually it became unpleasant. I suggest adding chillies for a bit of spiciness. They serve chillies on the side. As for the drink, I went for Thai Milk Tea which I surely recommend. It was creamy, not overly sweet. I heard they are famous for their orange juice. The price was quite high for a 500-ml-bottle, around THB 219 at that time. You should ask before ordering because the price can be different every other day.”
