“It’s a small eatery, sits only 10 pax but the customers eat and go. Worth the wait. I had the 5 piece sashimi set, grilled lumberjack cheek and sake. The sashimi is so fresh and delicious, served fast after ordering. Enjoyed every bite of the seafood. The fish cheek was well salted and perfectly grilled, it’s the best I had eaten so far. Please give it a try. So happy to chance upon this humble sushi place that delivers such good quality that delights one’s palate.”

“Take a trip back in time to the showa era. When people were straightforward l, food was real and politically incorrect logos weren’t canceled. Proper wholesome, delicious curry with fruity aftertaste. Nicely fried Katsu that melts in your mouth and juicy pickles. Everything you could want in a curry. Is it the best I’ve ever had? No. That still goes to Kojika in Ofunato, but it’s definitely a top 5 competitor.”

“I think this place is just perfect value for money. In fact, if you want to eat this much sushi in Korea, you have to pay more, but when you eat it in Korea, people say it's a waste of money, but it's cheaper here, so it's good value for money. The taste is average, but there was no waiting line, so I came without a plan and had to wait. I don't like it, but if I want to eat sushi, I just eat it. For my standard, the cost-effectiveness was very good. This time, I traveled with P-style and visited about twice. The second time I visited during a busy time, the quality of the sushi was very poor and there was a lot of wasabi in the sushi, so I checked each item one by one, removed it, and ate it. Well, it's not that I put so much in it that I would post it somewhere, but it was really an ambiguous amount (about 4 times the amount of regular wasabi...?). It felt a little ambiguous... I have nothing to say other than cost-effectiveness. It just depends on what you think, but it's okay to skip the wasabi. I'm not saying I won't go there next time I go to Osaka, but I recommend it if you want to eat sushi with the right taste at a reasonable price.”

Wrapped in beautiful Japanese paper, it can also be used as a gift. I think it would be appreciated as a souvenir from Osaka. Because the package is wrapped softly I think it gets very humid. Please use a large dehumidifier. We recommend eating early. If sealed properly The crispy feeling lasted. This time, I received it from a friend after a long time. I was very happy. It's a valuable sweet that is hard to buy. Thank you for the meal.”

“I selected the dish featuring pork cutlet with curry sauce and omu rice. To be honest, I was drawn to this restaurant after seeing it gain popularity on social media, prompting me to try it. Regrettably, the actual experience didn't live up to the lofty expectations set by social media. In my opinion, the taste was quite ordinary. Both in terms of price and flavor, I believe Coco Ichiban offers a superior option for pork cutlet and curry rice. Nevertheless, I commend the establishment for providing a self-service water station and delivering the food with commendable speed.”

“Was looking for an okonomiyaki place and found it while walking down the street. It didn't seem full so we went inside. It was kind of confusing at first since no one attended us, but we got a table. However we didn't know it was a DIY place. We got even more nervous when we read the reviews... But! I'm happy to report that we had a great time. After we flagged the waiter to order, our food came quickly and he offered to make the okonomiyaki for us. He made the first one and we made the next. Now I know why it's all you can eat. The portions may look daunting, but I just wanted more! I would definitely give this place a try if you're willing to step outside of your comfort zone.”
